Does radiator temprature any dependency on tap water temprature settings

I have valliant boiler with wireless Thermostat controlling the temprature. I set the target temp at 30 Degree and switch my heating on. For a long time I dont see radiator heating up as much until I increase the temperature of the tap heating on the boiler panel up. But that makes my tap water very hot which I keep balancing with the cold water all the time.

Does the radiator temperature have any dependency on the tap water heating up!

Which model Vaillant? Combi or conventional? The CH and DHW circuits are independent. Your room 'stat should be set to around 18-21C, 30C is absurdly high.
Your DHW temp is controlled either by the tank 'stat (if you have a hot water tank) or by the DHW temp control on the boiler (if you have a combi). Typical DHW temp would be 60C+. With a combi, hot water at all is sent to the CH circuit while you have a hot tap open.
If it's a conventional system, then it sounds more like a sticking 3 port valve.
Impossible to say what the issue is here without knowing more about your boiler type and DHW system,

Hi macman, It's a Valliant ecoTECH pro 24 boiler. 30 because it hardly see 22+ on the thermostat.

So it's a combi. The hot water is produced only on demand: the setting you have on the boiler's hot water control has nothing to do with the temp of the CH circuit.
With a combi, when the hot tap is on, the CH circuit is off-all the hot water flow is diverted to the DHW circuit.
You may have a fault with the room 'stat or CH circuit, it sounds like the boiler won't fire in response to the 'stat calling for heat.
I don't understand your comment about 'hardly see 22+'?

  • strange, could be wired up wrong on boiler, what happens if you turn hot water down all the way and turn up rads dial on boiler and run tap, is the water hot

Could it be something silly like a flat battery in wireless thermostat?

I mean the target temp is set to 30 but the room temperature on the stat display never goes over 18 or 19..... or even 22

I got the boiler serviced more than a week and the flat battery in the stat is replaced with a new one.

We have a Vailant boiler similar to yours.

Following a session of RTFM I discovered that we needed the water in the rads to be much hotter than we previously had it and everything worked fine after that.
    Have you tried to RTFM?

But the highest temp that most people would ever want is 21 or maybe 22C. If you set it to 30C and it tried to reach that, it would never achieve it, you'd just run the boiler flat out. It might get to 25C at most.
If the actual room temp is say 18C and you set the 'stat to just 19C, then the boiler should still fire up in response to the call for heat (assuming that the timer is on). You don't need a differential of 10 or 12C to trigger it!

Set the ch stat on the boiler to 65/70c and the hot water to 55c.

Room thermostat setting will have no bearing on the flow temp of the boiler.
