McDonalds Parking Fine Code:08

Hi All, can anyone help please. I received a parking ticket for a Code:08-The vehicles driver was not on the premises at the time of survey.
This is wrong because I was. The ticket was issued between 17:38 - 17:39 hrs. My McDonalds receipt shows I made a purchase at 17:37 hrs. When I arrived in the restaurant I first went to wash my hands then went to order. When I sat down and after a few minutes (waiting for my meal) a parking attendant asked which car I had. I told him and he went off. Later when I discovered the ticket and challenged the attendant he said he had already issued the ticket before talking to me and could do nothing and stuck by his story that he and his m8 had carried out a survey of McDonalds.
I was issued the ticket on the 14th Nov. Its possible I was in the WC at the time of the survey although strangely they had taken photos of the WCs too. I believe they hadnt and came after I had sat down.
How do I appeal this?

firstly , its a parking charge , not a fine , as it was on private land , so its an invoice issued for a perceived parking contravention
now check the NEWBIES thread at the top of the forum for info on what to do next , and why
the link is also in my signature
ps:~- keep and copy and scan all receipts and tickets etc0 -
It's assumed its private land, and by the sounds of it probably is. But can you tell us who ticketed you, as in company name ? And is this England or Wales ? Finally are you the registered keeper of the vehicle?

Why did you not give the manager the hair dryer treatment as you had the ticket, I would have made enough fuss they had to call the police and videoed them on the phone..Be happy...;)0

I spoke to the manager and he said he would email the company as he was not in a position to be able to anything else. He even came outside to speak the attendants who basically said they couldnt canx it and that they had only been working for a week.0

Well she will get a letter called a Notice to Keeper, she will have an opportunity to name you as the driver so you can deal with it. But as you've already received a notice to driver you can send an appeal to them. So if your complaint to McDonald's doesn't work it's up to you how you deal with it.When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you.
