Another 'haymaker' CM. Absolutely brilliant. :T

OP - this is the business, definitely go with it.

    Thanks CM : ).

There is a part of the letter, I'm not sure about. If they take me to County Court, the judge might want me to explain that part of the letter. I think I got gaps in my knowledge at the present moment.

This is the part I don't understand:

    b) Your charge has no 'commercial justification' because it is punitive, relies on obfuscation by a mere agent with no standing nor authority and it is not in the legitimate interest of your principal to proceed. A complaint has already been lodged with your client and will be escalated if you do not cancel this charge.

The letter is perfect and thanks again CM.

Also I am thinking of going to the shopping center to complain and send them a letter. I believe, it really is worth trying. If there is any links from any one reading this. I would really appreciate it. A templated letter to complain to the shopping center would also be excellent. I really am a customer and I shouldn't be treated like this. Also how do i find the owner of the shopping center and how do I go about it.

Thanks Everyone who is reading this : )

I think that letter is fine to send to the shopping centre manager.

As for the part in the reply letter you don't understand:

'' b) Your charge has no 'commercial justification' because it is punitive, relies on obfuscation by a mere agent with no standing nor authority and it is not in the legitimate interest of your principal to proceed. A complaint has already been lodged with your client and will be escalated if you do not cancel this charge.''

It is relevant to your case. It is basically saying that ParkingEye cannot justify their charge. And that it's not in the interests of the Retail Centre to allow ParkingEye to proceed so you have complained to their client (the Retail Centre manager).

    Which is all true!
