You don't actually need a "proper" bento box so to speak. A good lock and lock box works just as well. Many people are actually shocked at how small a bento box really is when they see one for the first time.!

Well my 11 yo is off to school this morning with bread and butter, soup and fruit, made all by herself. She wasn't keen on the babybel in the grape penguins *hmpf* good job they only took a few minutes to make! I think I'll have to go back to carrot shapes again.0

not at all IDP anything that encourages children to eat healthly and a variety of food can only be classed as a good thing..... and anyway in my case i will be the one playing with the food as i am preparing it for my dd0 -

Far from it! My small sprog has gone from hiding sandwiches below her bed uneaten, to polishing off her lunch everyday. That as far as I'm concerned can only be a good thing0
