• #9 done! And an accidental 6 in a row! I haven't spent since last Saturday! I'll be breaking it tomorrow with the weekly shop, a petrol fill-up and possibly a lunch out.

Another busy day, as had all 29 children to myself again today. What a crowd. Although the head teacher caught me this afternoon to let me know I'd done really well the past 2 days. :) So... every cloud. I have had to bring some books home to mark though. Boo hiss. It's my job to do them after this, then it'll be done.

Need to wrap a couple of pressies tonight as well, as doing a swap tomorrow with a friend. The weekend is very much needed!

Pleased to report NSD # 7
I was at work, so no chance to spend anything!

When I got home from work, I had a letter from the tax office. I earn less than the tax allowance on my earned income, so the rest of my tax allowance is applied to my pension. But they've randomly changed the tax code on my pension, so I'll pay tax on all my pension, which is not correct. I'll have to write a letter to sort it out - it's just a bit annoying, I've better things to do than write to the tax man!

Addicted2shopping – #3 is great – and I hope you enjoy your Christmas do :xmassmile

Beanie – #8 bagged – and maybe Christmas chocolate shouldn’t even count as spending :rotfl:

BigMummaF – that’s you added to the front page – oh yes it is! Well done on the first one reported here for a while….and good luck on your bid for wishee washee :rudolf:

Bottleofred – so aptly named....the wine always seems like a good idea at the time. And good planning taking the next day off to recover :xmassmile:rotfl: wHgdYfVZ8Q78AAAAABJRU5ErkJggg==:xmassmile

Butti – hi butti, and welcome to the challenge…..which I hope doesn’t prove to challenging after all. You’re off to a good start with your first 2 grabbed among the fizz

Cardi80 – hope it’s nothing serious stopping you from driving….and well done on #8 :j

Fedupandskint – you’re doing great – into double figures already. Having separate budgets seems to be really working – wish I could stick to mine more often :A

Flubberyzing – well done on #9 – and 6 in a row is brilliant….even if it was accidental. Sounds like the kids are keeping you on your toes :rotfl:

Frugaldances – of course you can join – welcome to the madhouse and good luck! Remember to pop back and keep us up-to-date with your progress

jammy dodger – ooh, foraged apples sound interesting. 8 miles from the nearest shop – that would drive me to spend a fortune online :)Well done on #5 :j

Goldiegirl – :j:jto #7  to writing letters to the taxman

Lioness in Winter – #3 for you – hope it continues :)

Positivelypurple – fingers crossed for your NSDs from Sunday – hope your busy weekend is fun :)

Sazzie23 – keeping on track is good. And with #8, you’re already over half-way to your target :j

Saver-upper – well done on #3. This challenge is so good for stopping (or at least noticing) those silly wee spends that all add up. Keep up the good work :money:

Slowlyfading – I love how you quietly just get on with getting your NSDs – well done on #9 :A

Oh, and #9 for me yesterday. I’m off out with friends this afternoon for an unexpected lunch/drinks – they often turn out to be the best ones though so worth losing my final NSD for :rudolf:

ETO – we really appreciate your updates and I know how difficult it is to find the time. I’m sure all our NSDers will be patient with us. Hope you're getting all organised for bubba's first Christmas :xmassmile

Leaping in to say number 4 NSD put his hands up, said "It's a fair cop, guv" and jumped into the Cauldron of Doom.

(Ok, Igor, from the top where Wishee Washee (aka BigMumma) comes on stage with a mangle right upper entrance....Oi! You lot at the back there! Stop sniggering! Let's rephrase that .....Wishee Washee comes on stage with a mangle left upper entrance...no, that's worse....Just come on stage, Big Mumma and stop poncing about, we've still got the bit to rehearse where Hubert is hitched up to Cinderella's coach and the Fairy Godmother (aka you, Igor) dances with the Principal Boy (aka kerri) whilst waiting for Wishee Washee to finish washing her tights before the three bears chase Aladdin out of the cottage for eating their porridge....and don't forget - you've still got to sort out the turkey!)

((Whaddya mean, who's playing the turkey??? I despair of you, Igor, I really do...)
