Well,I did it:NSD#3.
Thought I was doing really well having bagged 3 this month, til I realised how far into the month we actually are_so not as good as I thought.
And still kicking myself that I wasted my NSD on chocolate, mince pies and biscuits the other day:not only did I waste an otherwise in-the-bag NSD,but I there is none of the chocolate, mince pies or biscuits left :rotfl:

Morning.. bit of a fosty one again (too thick for mist but not quite fog!) so wherever your journeys may take you, please take care.
I didn't post a target t'other day did I, so could I have 8 please Thread-Keepers; with two homes to consider & an awkward parent (luvver to bits, but decision making has always been her Achilles Heel) forward planning definitely falls under the category of Wishful Thinking these days!
Having said that, newmerro oono came my way yesterday & I can put 1 into the Cauldron for now.
With all the doom & gloom around this year, are we pushing the Tardis out & having a knees-up for the Solstice too? I, for one, wouldn't object to integrating with the local wiccans one week, crimbly revellers the next & then the real biggy in Edinburgh for New Year! I'm cheesed orf with being careful & fancy having a real blow-out so tune up the transpormogrifiers, polish the pulipush programme panel, decorate the dodecadodahs & let's pah-ah-ar-te-hey *whoop whoop izda sownda tha poll-ease*

BigMumma - so glad you will be free for the annual NSD gang Solstice/Crimbo bash! This is how it's looking so far....
Weekend of 21/22 December - guests arrive in party frocks and tuxedos etc. Cocktail bar being set up for both days, egg nog and mulled wine being served but fortunately not together in the same glass. Any other requests for cocktails gratefully received.
Full blow-out Christmas banquet on the menu on both days(managed to persuade Igor not to go down the sprout curry route again) and Igor is currently sourcing a turkey that will do 107 portions (thought we'd have a bit extra for sandwiches).
Entertainment on both days will be kerri doing a pole dance spot with improvisation in the form of using the Christmas tree instead of a pole. Followed by the piece de resistance - the Ennessdee Towers Christmas pantomime, starring kerri as Principal Boy and Igor as the Fairy Godmother. We are still frantically auditioning for the other parts so please, guys, get your thespian hats on and volunteer - you can choose which part you want, and we will write the script around it.....

Reporting NSD # 6, which was today.
Yesterday wasn't a NSD, but I'm pleased to report that I did get quite a few Christmas food goodies with my Nectar points, so that was pleasing.
This Solstice / Christmas bash sounds interesting, I'll certainly have a look-in over that weekend!Early retired - 18th December 2014

#8 done!
A busy day at school today, and I'm tired. The teacher I'm working with until after Christmas called in sick, so I was thrown in at the deep end with the class. It was a bit of a frantic rush around from 8 - 8:45 trying to get everything sorted in time for the children to arrive!
Early night for me tonight! Fell asleep on the sofa last night while watching 'Tudor monastery Farm'. Woke up very confused about 10:15 and put myself to bed. Very ready for the weekend! Lunch with my bestie on Saturday, which I'm looking forward to.Because it's fun to have money!
