Your question has been answered. The factory if they don't have a company sick pay scheme, should pay SSP, if not, then you claim ESA from the DWPmake the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

I really cant not believe anyone thinks about how much or little the sick pay is.

What if you cant get appts out of work hours.
Then you will have to come to some kind of arrangement such as unpaid time off or annual leave. Some companies allow you to come in late and make up time later but you need to ask!Lost my soulmate so life is empty.
