  • However, I believe this takes my stash of body lotions up over 10. I feel a little bit like I'm drowning in body lotions at the moment. Does anyone have any sort of idea how else I can use them? I don't need hand cream, and will tend to use them as foot lotion, as I never allow enough time to slather them on daily.

I have way more body lotions than that :o
I use mine as handcream, foot cream and runny lotions instead of shaving foam. Sometimes I need to water them down a bit or they clog up my razor but I'll never need to buy a shaving foam (or body lotion!) again.

I am going to declare a few UU for the end of the year now as there is so little left that its not worth adding them to my 2014 stash list!

Avon Naturals Honey shower jelly - WNBA, I hate screw top shower gels as they're too fiddly with wet hands! Has long been discontinued, this was the oldest shower gel left in my stash :D

BS Dreams Ltd body lotion - WNBA as I have way too many body lotions!

Avon Planet Spa Dead Sea Minerals hand cream - WBA but I think it was discontinued a while ago, loved the marine smell of this.

Covergirl blusher - WNBA, this was soooo old! Its a struggle getting any more out with my blusher brush so am going to chuck this.

Clinique Gentle Light loose powder - no need to buy anytime soon as this lasted me about a decade and I have another loose powder in the stash.

Boots Natural Collection Passionfruit body spray - WBA, I liked the fragrance and its a non-aerosol spray bottle which always seem to last longer :money:

Think thats me for the year, I'm just away to count my final total for 2013.

Have a good New Year everyone, I'll see you all in 2014!

  • I have a question for everyone who uses concealer under their eyes. I am very pale and so naturally am quite dark and blue under the eyes. I currently use No7 pen concealer under my eyes but it seems to disappear by lunchtime. I'm looking around but wonder, what do you use and what would you recommend?

I use the L'Oreal Touche Magique one but I don't know if its any better than No. 7 I'm afraid. I have also tried the Clinique Airbrush concealer and I don't think its any better than the L'Oreal one for about twice the price!

I've purchased one item that will be an IN in the new year; a tube of they're real mascara. I've bought it off ebay and this is my first time buying makeup, so I'm 50/50 whether it will be any good. I spent less than I did on my last No7 mascara and got it significantly cheaper than in the shop so it's no huge loss if it's no good. My No7 is on its last legs and it will be a one in one out situation.

I love the They're Real and think a lot of other people on here do too although know some people didn't get on so well with it. Fingers crossed for you!

I use the Collection lasting perfection one in the lightest shade as I too am very pale. I think it's pretty good for the price and lasts well on me. I have heard that the Bobbi Brown corrector is fab at correcting (surprinsingly :rotfl:) dark circles as it is a peachy tone to counteract the blueness? Haven't tried it yet myself though as I want to get colour matched at a counter.

I love They're Real, it really is an amazing mascara. As for concealer, I use the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind concealer which is good for me as a pale lady and it helps brighten my undereye. The maybelline dream lumi concealer isn't too bad either.

bought a coast skirt off fleabay and was shocked when it arrived as not the pale brown it looked in the pic but a very light baby blue...yeuk so not my colour :( I know it is buyer beware but the woman could have said what the colour was having taken a misleading photo!

Open an 'item not as described' case hun and get your money back :)

Body lotion makes a great alternative to shaving gel, best used just before a shower though!

Try a tinted primer instead of a concealer as it may last longer, this one's good....

  • mad-scientist I rent quite a small room though, with very limited storage space, so having more than 5 of anything is overwhelming. No one will notice 1 bottle in the bathroom, so I may try shaving lather. 2 are oils, so I imagine they'll work really well, thanks!

KT2802 - The Too Faced palette is sooo pretty, I have several of their palettes and they are lovely. I used Christmas money to buy this one so don't feel too bad about it.

Roguey - I second the recommendation for the collection concealer also the Estee Lauder double wear one is fab that stays put all day but it doesn't correct blue shadows just covers them.

Kadison - nice haul, have you found room for it all?

    I have a uu

Percy & Reed Volumising no oil hair oil - 30ml, WBA and have several more in the stash, this lasted ages and was an amazing value Glamour freebie.
