An itty bitty uu to report

La Roche Posay Effacler Duo 3ml, this was the freebie a few of us got recently, I have used this product for a while and use it as a treatment rather than an everyday product. WBA it does a good job.

  • Hope you all had a lovely xmas! I've got some in's from xmas to report but I'll sort through those later.

I've used up one of my La Roche Posay Anthelios suncreams. It was a HG product when I first started using it (hence why I've got one left in my stash) but I've grown to hate it. It reacts with alot of moisturisers which causes the product to ball up and flake. I've got so many moisturisers to use up and they all seem to react with this, so I'm using another sunscreen at the moment (Kiss My Face) which so far is very nice.

I've also thrown away a hair spray. It was a product I was sent to test, which I have already done and seeing as I'm not a big user of hairspray and have one anyway it seemed best to just get it out of the bathroom!
    No more goo hoarding!

am trying (yet again) to sell some stuff on fleabay so been taking photos today, takes so long to list tho!
bought a coast skirt off fleabay and was shocked when it arrived as not the pale brown it looked in the pic but a very light baby blue...yeuk so not my colour :( I know it is buyer beware but the woman could have said what the colour was having taken a misleading photo!

did buy another coast skirt which is okay, they seem strange sizes as 16 almost falling down whilst 14 cuts into flesh!also got a monsoon skirt for 99p so quite happy(sorry going off topic!)

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    A few essential INS today:

    -2 x b00ts coconut conditioner as it was 2 for £2
-2x VO5 hair gel spray and 1 hairspray on b2g1f offer

This should see me through to March now as I have plenty of everything else.

My own mini-challenge now is to buy no toiletries until April 1st!
  • Oh no clutterfree I wish you hadn't! I really wanted this, and managed to resist due to the price... I need to try and forget I saw that!

I bought a back up gift just in case, and haven't needed to use it. I'll need to declare it as an IN - so Blossom body wash, Blossom body scrub and Blossom body lotion spray from Superdrug. It was a perfect back up gift, as it looks really nice, but only cost £2.50. I'll enjoy using it (eventually)

However, I believe this takes my stash of body lotions up over 10. I feel a little bit like I'm drowning in body lotions at the moment. Does anyone have any sort of idea how else I can use them? I don't need hand cream, and will tend to use them as foot lotion, as I never allow enough time to slather them on daily.

Ooh some lovely things there. I really liked the look of the My Favourite Things palette - I think I have similar taste in make up to you Dolly

I have had a few deliveries today but am still waiting on an order from ELF and Debenhams. Guess things are taking longer than usual due to the sales and holiday period.

Hello Everyone, I hope you all had a Happy and Peaceful Christmas without floods or power cuts.

As a result of the celebrations I have 13 INs to report .

2 Revitalash - one of which will go to my daughter for her birthday in March; 1 set of Goat's Milk body lotion and night cream; 1 set of M&S Royal Jelly hand cream, body cream, and body scrub plus a box of 4 mini hand creams, from my DIL ... It'll take years to use up all my hand and body creams!! Also a set of Ted Baker nail varnish and lip stain in a gorgeous red from my lovely neighbour.

To compensate, I've 2 UUs, so at least i won't end the month with the same number of items I started with!

Laura Geller Balance n Brighten in Fair. I've used this for a few years now, but I don't think it does me any favours any more, and I want to try some liquid foundations when I've used up the stash.

Laura Geller Spackle original primer. This is quite good, apart from having to give it time to dry, but I have others in the stash, and would like to compare them with this.

I hope you all have a Happy New Year. 2014 WILL be the year I reduce the stash - honest!

  • Hurrah! My first 5 UUs. :T They were all samples/one use but as that large supermarket chain says, every little helps!

Nivea Firming Body Oil Sample - Nice light oil, delicate fragrance and sank into the skin well, skin felt lovelt and soft - didn’t leave me feeling greasy. WBA but only if it comes in a bottle with a spray or narrow nozzle, as it poured off my hands and dripped everywhere. I have another 2 of these to use up so will remember to do it in the bathroom next time!

Mudd Sea Mask - supposed to be one use but there is loads in the pack so will use twice next time. Dealt well with my oily bits, needed a fair bit of moisturiser afterwards. WBA as an occasional treat.

V05 Hot oil - WNBA, didn't go far enough for my hair length and not convinced it did much.

Avon Planet spa turkish bath petals - Definitely WNBA. Had these as a gift, they were weird and useless. Turned into gelatinous blobs in the bath water, felt like swimming with bogies. (lol, sorry).

Molton Brown Indian Cress conditioner - was quite thin and difficult to spread through hair. Not much fragrance.

Should get rid of some shampoo and body lotion at the gym tomorrow too :)

Can we have a pic of the necklace? :D

I'll take a pic in a minute, I think it's gorgeous, but then I'm biased!

Have a few more UUs to report before the end of the month.

    L'occitane precious fluid 1ml
    L'occitane angelica protective lotion spf15 1.5ml
Molton Brown patchouli and saffron body wash 30ml
Neom Inspiration hand lotion 50ml Hand treatment/cream 50ml
    L'Occitane divine cream 1ml

I've realised that each of these items was a freebie: three samples from l'occitane, a small bottle of body wash with a gift purchase from MB and the Neom hand cream was free for completing a feedback survey for them over a year ago.

I have older hand creams in the stash but know Neom is organic and wanted to use it before it went off. The fragrance was lovely and it sank in beautifully. It wasn't as moisturising as other hand creams I have tried, but was perfect for a by-the-keyboard-boost as it was non greasy and a wonderful fragrance. WBA once the remaining 700ml of hand cream is used up!

The MB saffron and patchouli was absolutely not for me, did not like the fragrance at all and WNBA.

I've purchased one item that will be an IN in the new year; a tube of they're real mascara. I've bought it off ebay and this is my first time buying makeup, so I'm 50/50 whether it will be any good. I spent less than I did on my last No7 mascara and got it significantly cheaper than in the shop so it's no huge loss if it's no good. My No7 is on its last legs and it will be a one in one out situation.

I have a question for everyone who uses concealer under their eyes. I am very pale and so naturally am quite dark and blue under the eyes. I currently use No7 pen concealer under my eyes but it seems to disappear by lunchtime. I'm looking around but wonder, what do you use and what would you recommend?
