Thanks for asking Sundaysgirl I'm doing fine, will be made redundant on Monday. TBH the whole procedure has been a joke, blocking me from work and being downright difficult about everything. I will be so glad when it's over
Hope everyone has a nice weekend, I'm afraid I am disliking this time of year even more so this year
I'm not surprised you feel this way considering you are losing your job asset. So sorry to hear this. Hope you are able to find a new job fairly quickly. What do you do for a living?I have a TA to report, or rather a RIPI went to do my nails this evening with my favourite Christmas colour, A Ruby for Rudolf by OPI, and found it died up. There was only a little left as I've had it for years, but somehow I was expecting it to go on for ever! I don't expect it's made anymore, so WNBA. I used Madras from Mavala instead.
I have owned this OPI colour in the past. If you have problems replacing it try China Glaze Ruby Pumps that I'm wearing at the moment. It is a little brighter than the OPI one but has the same amount of shimmer in it. I think it's a classic colour too so still available.minicooper272 wrote: »A lovely IN to declare after secret santa at work - Lush Christmas Eve bubble bar. Really liked me secret santa gift this year, it was really well thought out. I am undecided about whether I will keep the bar - a current skin condition started after I used one of their bath bombs, and I've been a bit wary of their bath stuff since, but even still, I am very pleased with the gift
Very nice. Secret Santas are such a gamble aren't they? We are allowed to spend £5.00 and there's an embargo on wine bottles. I've bought my friend a snood from Primark as she's always wearing scarves around the office but I never see her wearing one outside. Last year I was bought some China Glaze polish which was lovely. We are swapping ours this Friday so will report back on my gift.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Welcome Pirateyqueen! :T
Asset, how are you feeling today?
Babette, try not to feel judged by a "one off" post. The rest of us are in the same boat as each other so I think this is a great thread.
Hey where else is there on here, and in real life, that I can find other people who share my excitement over the Naked 3 palette!?
Okay, one UU to report...
Silk Oil of Morocco certified Argan oil hair and skin treatment 125ml - WMBA - this came in a six piece set along with shampoo, conditioner and various Argan hair products. The set cost £100  but the shampoo and conditioner were great! They are sadly long gone but even though I have bust length hair and didn't have it cut for a yearwith these products I did not get split ends. Was good stuff but I can't justify the price at the moment. If I found it on offer, though, I wouldn't hesitate...
One NPI today...
Herbal Essences Bee Strong shampoo and conditioner are on offer at Tesco. I was sorely tempted but resisted for three reasons...
1. I have a sample sachet of each in my stash that I've not tried so I don't even know if it suits.
2. I have plenty of other shampoos and conditioners to use up before adding to my stockpile.
3. Nicole Sch.... (X factor judge!!) was on the front of the bottles which actually put me off it!Ageing is a privilege not everyone gets.

Evening everyone :hello:
I'm delighted to report one UU:
L'Occitane Verbena Cleansing Hand Wash 300ml WBA but at £14 a bottle, it would have to be if money was no object! I seem to recall it was a leaving present from my previous job, which was a lovely treat! I'm now using L'Occitane bar soap which is part of my stash.
Fingers crossed I'll be able to report more UUs later in the week.Sealed Pot Challenge #021 #8 975.71 #9 £881.44 #10 £961.13 #11 £782.13 #12 £741.83 #13 £2135.22 #14 £895.53 #15 £1240.40 #16 £1805.87 #17 £1820.01 declared0 -

Well done on your list Pirateyqueen.
Done feel terrible, we've all been there.
I still am!
Tbh I know it's gong to take a long time to get through my haul but today, if it had not been for this group, I would have purchased another shampoo and conditioner. But because I knew I'd have to come on here and add it to my long list I didn't buy it.
I know my list will go up at Christmas as I will no doubt have some toiletries for pressies so I am trying to be good before then.
Are you also Caroline Hirons follower? I noticed a few of her recommendations on your list. There are a few of us on here and it is so hard to ignore her latest recommendation.
I've only been on this thread for a month but they are a lovely non-judgemental group which helps when we all have our slip ups.
Anyway, welcome again.Ageing is a privilege not everyone gets.

Thank you very much, it's such a shock seeing it all written down!

Hi pirateyqueen, welcome to the gang!
I wouldn't worry about the size of your stash, I'd just like to confess that is about the size I am trying to get my hoard down tobut every one on here has a different idea of what an acceptable level of stash is :rotfl:
One UU today,
Small pot of Bare Minerals foundation in Fairly Light from the starter set, WNBA in this shade, it was too pale even for me! Have been mixing a little bit into my full size pot of Medium foundation in the mornings. I still have the Light shade left from the starter set but this is far too yellow for my rosy cheeks so will try to mix it with the Medium and see what happens. No more buying unnecessary toiletries 2018

That's a good idea! Can't really go wrong with a scarf or derivative. I don't mind what I get usually, but apparently my colleagues have pinned me as a major party animal, and I normally get drinking games or booze. It's fine, but I hardly go out as I don't know many people here to go out with, so it's a little bit frustrating/isolating getting things like that!
I have just realised I nearly have my shower gel and shampoo stash under control. Next week I will have 1 shower gel (+1 travel sized shower gel), 1 soap and shampoo left. I still have about 5-10 bottles of moisturiser left though.0
