Evening all!! Have potted £2 today, had budgeted £10 for my sons haircut and it only cost £8 so plop plop into the pot they went. Still sounding very empty........I'm not a failure if I don't make it, I'm a success because I :tried!0

I would like to join if I may, please?
Ive started with £3 :-)
A really warm welcome, bellevie. It's lovely to have you with us. :grinheart Enjoy yourself saving and join in the banter. You'll find your number at the bottom of the list on post 5 of page 1. Please read through post 1 as it'll let you know exactly what to do with the challenge.
Please also subscribe to the thread by clicking on "Thread Tools" (lower green bar) and clicking "Subscribe to this thread"...or you may lose us! To put your SPC No on, go to "Quick Links" (right side of top green bar), click and then click on "Edit Signature" and you're away.
*Please pop your numbers on your sigs, it really helps.
bellevie, you've made a great start with that £3! :j
You'll have to 'pull yer finger out' with those cards, Ruth!
That was a good save with free delivery, nanto3girls, brilliant.Happybeingme wrote: »I've updated my number now Sue-UU sorry I missed the post before (I'm not very observant I know lol!). I noticed that my target wasn't on there though, would it be possible to update it please? It's £350 for the christmas pot and £400 for the holiday pot. Thank you!!
That's fine, Happybeingme, they don't have to be done straight away, but the sooner the better is best by me and best for sparky's spreadsheet. Both Targets are on, all you have to do now is - go for it!!
A great idea with the childrens' £2s.
rosyq wrote:Oh and I'm doing apple bread next if anyone wants to come round? The raisin bread's superb :T
Apple bread and a :coffee: sounds delicious, Rosy, say......Christmas Day!Thank you everso, I have updated my sig and am all fired up ready to save, save, save. Well......... I would be but my car failed its MOT at the cost of £400. Thats about £330 more than we have in the bank so its going to be fun till payday!
Oh sams, that's really horrible, especially given the time of year.Chin up, at least it'll be roadworthy after it's done.
Time for a couple of early nights for you eh, getting-there-slowly, you want to be ok for Christmas and sound awful right now.
That's ok, nikki2002-2008, and well done with the money saved. Wise to keep some by you too.
Hi skilly and good potting.
I like the sound of that plop plop, AlwaysHappy, good saving.
PLEASE NOTE everyone: It's time to change your numbers now as they're all done and simply need swapping over. You'll see that there are LOADS less names and numbers now, but it's useless having folk on the list that no longer save with us. However, if old members return then you'll be made very welcome and can still have your name added and be given a new number. :grinheart Please change numbers ASAP folks.
If you've already updated your No, please could you kindly make sure it's correct as I made a blunder to start with!
Very many thanks indeed.Sue x

Carpet was fitted today. Took out £130 to pay for it, total was £125 so £5 change was potted.
Went shopping and found 20p roadkill. Potted this too.
Going to the softplay tomorrow with the littlies so that £10 in my purse may be used :S. Half price entry though so not too bad! Change will be potted.0 -

Another NSD today so a couple of £1 coins into the pot to celebrate ~ downhill from here though as still several outstanding spends to come for Christmas prep! However, I've set myself a tight budget and anything that comes in under it will go straight into the pot (and I guess towards next year by the time it's opened)!
Hope everyone's good!Stash busting 2014 45 / 60 (balls of yarn)!

Hi Sue, I'd like to join as a newcomer, can you add me please? I'm thinking of having a holding pot and will transfer money to a sealed pot regularly. Will put change from groceries and other shoppings, roadkills, any saved money by not spending - APART from £2 coins that I'm going to save in another jar
As I also joined Frugal Living Challenge, I'm not going to spend money on a pot but will decorate and seal a glass coffee jar with Cath Kidston stickers or the decor tape I bought from Poundland.
