Those words are a joy to read, Elle, it's wonderful to know that's what SPC has done for you, especially in a year that saw you having to take a pay cut! In which case you did marvellously to save all you did, excellent work! :T BTW, I've sorted your Target out. All best wishes for a good 2014!

Yes, put my target at £600, but I would love to get to 4 figures.

I only really need £500'ish for Xmas, so anything over is a bonus.

Around £100 from my previous pot will be spent on our car.

Re your hopeful Target above, Lynsey, that doesn't surprise me in the least, I bet you succeed too! How fortunate to have money for the tyre, bats taking it from a wage packet or 2!!
I am at home all of next week due to recovering from a surgery so can I put the transport money what I saved in the pot?

Most certainly you can, Loveactually! It's another form of saving so anything similar is pottable. Take care of yourself and get well soon! :grinheart

Well done, tightar*e! That IS a good start! :j

should that november 28th be 2014 sue?

    sorry dont kill me :A

just potted a load of coinage from the standby pot to my sealed up roses jar. not gonna count it as it spoils the fun :D

Oh mcjordi, you're an absolute gem, yep one of them :A too! I did that deliberately to see who really was reading the 1st post (I tell the occasional porky too ;)).

Thank you so much for letting me know, I really do appreciate it. :kisses3: I had meant to read it through again before putting it out early this morning, but couldn't because of the internet. You see how I need you here more often to watch out for me! ;)

Yes, I've sorted out your Target as required, lemonpopsicle. How kind a customer to give Mr Pop a £20 note, wonderful! Could I please ask you a favour? Could you kindly change the colour of your SPC No on your siggie, I had a job to make it out just now.

Hi again, Jonesy88, you save as you wish, though I can honestly say that none of us could ever remember what we save as a result of telling other members here, believe me, it's pretty much impossible to do so. We simply pot it, tell folk then that's it. I wish you every bit of good fortune in making 2014 a very conceivable one!!! :j :A Please do let us know as and when you have any news?? Thank you.

Hi little_sweetie! It's good to see you over here too, I've just sent you a message, irony eh! Sadly, we still have loads more members who have yet to declare, it's always like this though, even though I've got 2 reminder/noification threads running. I think a lot just don't bother coming on MSE anymore so they don't see anything to jog their memories. You'd think as it gets closer to Christmas they'd think, but apparently not!

To answer your question about so many people being up so late, it's almost always the same. This year though I had huge laptop problems for the last 2 or 3 days and finally got in touch with the Techie lads here on MSE; they were marvellous and we soon had it sorted, thank goodness! Then last night it was the internet here that was playing up something awful.

During all that time the girls here were waiting and obviously getting more and more excited, like kiddies after a Birthday party, seriously! :D Then as I put each post out, I was terrified someone would put a post between, though I get fearful of that every year. By the time I got them all on they descended like excited vultures! I have to admit though that I was just a little excited myself, again, I always am! :j

Anyway, it's good to hear you're going to try for more next year, I don't blame you either, why not! I wish I could get onto e-yay, due to my password problem I finally rang them a week last Sunday. The chap said he'd ring me back - but I'm still waiting!! T says to use his account, I suppose I'd just as well, but I liked my own Username, daft I know, but...! :(

If I go on much more I'd just as well have written to you again! I hope you're lucky with your sale on E-Yay! Take care, G too.

Hi, hope everyone is well! ;)

Was really pleased with my total for SPC6. Managed to buy nearly everyones Christmas presents with that and points. :T

Sorry I haven't been on much over the last few months. We had a three week delay between moving out of our rented house and completing on our new home, so we were living with friends which meant I couldn't spend much time online.

Since then we've been trying to get the house sorted. It is a bit like living in The Money Pit, even down to the feeling the bath might drop through the ceiling at any moment (rotten floor from a leaky shower for goodness knows how long!!). However, we are in and loving it!! Looking forward to being Stateside for Christmas :rudolf:...but nursing a heavy credit card bill from all the surprises in our new house....had to rewire most of the house within the first month!! The joys of being a homeowner again lol!! :o:D

My new pot is up and running and I will try and pop on a little more frequently. It really does help keep me motivated and potting. I had such a buzz counting all my money the other week, hope everyone has been really happy with how they've done....looking forward to seeing the grand total. :money:

Thanks again Sue and Sparky!! :smileyhea :xmastree:
