Morning all to a new challenge.

gottogo - welcome and good luck.

Sparky - good luck with the counting. I'm expecting well over £50,000.

Sue - hope this thread goes the same as last years. Lots of fun, camaraderie and lots and lots of savings.

I've got a new counter system to get those bags exact at the end. :D

    Potted so far - 7 x £2, 2 x £1, 1 x 50p and 5 x 20p coins. Starting off with £17.50.

"I solemnly swear that I will save a minimum of £600 in this challenge".

Good luck to all, from the small savers to the big hitters. May you all reach your targets.

BTW - Bespoke Offers are supposed to have an offer on Monday which enables you to purchase a £10 M&S voucher for only £5.
Worth a look and possibly a £5 saving for your pot??

  • Morning Sue and Sparky and all you SPC'ers.

I am in again for 2014 and am going to aim for £575. I have decided to combine my £1 a day every day of the year into my SPC rather than have seperate pots so that will help towards my aim.

You do a great job and I really appreciate having the focus of saving like this. Off to bank my money from yesterday so I can buy my premium bonds before the end of the month :D
  • Good morning all.
Can I join this new challenge please?

I have read the first post and skim read SPC6.
I don't have a target in mind as yet but will try and put a little in every day.

I already have £20 which was given to me for helping my mom out last night. Instead of spending it on rubbish I have put it into my very large green piggy which I bought last year and has been empty until now :)

    Debt-free and Proud!
    Morning all,

I hope that you are all well?

I went shopping today and it was mayhem at 09.30, anyone planning to go shopping I wish you luck and hopes that you will get what you want! I come in well under budget! As a result I have potted £22.42 because I am planning on doing very minimal shopping for the rest of the month.
