    Hi Ladies and Gents,

Been potting "odds and ends" over last few weeks, but in addition had my second lot of surgery to remove cancer cells last Thursday and feeling fantastic. So fingers crossed no more surgery and that will be the chemo and surgery boxes ticked and done.......radiotherapy here I come in January - woo hoo :)

That's fabulous news Nell, fingers and everything else crossed for you. :D

Helen, hope you're feeling better now. Hugs.

Well done you ! Pretty amazing considering you aren't able to do your day job at the moment. The part time job must be paying better than before. :)

Re your assumptions about no roadkill in Scotland, Lynne, I'll bet it's the latter "it's not a Scottish trait to throw money on the floor" :rotfl: Saying that, DH & I found some in both Balloch and Fort William the year before last. Onward & upward, Lynne...or maybe that should that be downward as in looking.
Must start Christmas shopping tomorrow.....Might be a good idea, what with 4 children to buy for 'n all.

Very good potting, Saver-upper, but you need to get yourself sorted if you're to get your kiddies some presents for Christmas! Poor little scraps - or they well be! :(:(:(:(

Wow, did you do well in Bath with offers, 50thfun!! I never really associate Bath with offers...only expense. Ah well, next year maybe.

That's lovely of you to 'do' for your in-laws, nanto3girls, very kind indeed.
Potted £20.17 yesterday. My first 2p road kill, 15p left over from last weeks weekly budget. My sister also gave my £40 which she owed me, so I have potted £20 of it and the other £20 will go into the holding pot. That was a great idea, thanks to whoever mentioned it

You're welcome, newlifeahead, but it's a case of well done you for using yours in such a sensible way...fantastic!!! :T

Thank you for adding my name - so glad I'm not losing the plot!

Potted £9.60 over the weekend. Not a bad start at all :T

No siju, no worries with you as it was me losing the plot. :o Excellent potting over the weekend too and you've made a GREAT start!!! :T

Piquant, those tips are going to add up to a near free Christmas next year! Very sensible!

Well done, Jellybaby! So good of your Mum to be so thoughtful without thinking eh! :j

....and my son took a packed lunch to school today so the £2.50 lunch money went in too!! I had expected to pay £1 for my sealed pot but it was only 89p so in went that 11p too!!

Brilliant ways of saving, sort_me_own_yard_out, especially on saving on lunches! You've read that 1st post well!! :D
Change from the budget went into the pot this morning dont know how much but was a lot less than i intended, wee ones became ill so had to go get some calpol and then hubby was stealing my change too. But still the remainder is in there and thats what matters.

I do hope your little ones are better or getting better, shiningfaery. It's quite acceptable about having to pay for the calpol but do keep that pot hidden away from your hubby......and SEALED!

Wooohay, mcjordi! Very well done!
Another £6.10 in the Pot....Finally over the £30-mark....Not too shabby :D

There you go see, Helen, and you got there so quickly too! :D I've got nowhere near that, and......I kid you NOT!! :(

Nell, that really is the most fantastic news!!!!!! :j:T:j Time for you now to put your feet up and get over the op and then ENJOY CHRISTMAS!!! :smileyhea You've been through a heck of a lot this year, so have a lovely Christmas and look ahead to radiotherapy knocking it all on the head! Brilliant, Nell, and thanks for letting us share in your special news! :D

Oh, what a very good idea, Rosy..you deserved that too. ;)
