Of course you can join us, ZebNeedsMoney. A very warm welcome to you. :grinheart Have fun saving, posting and enjoying the banter. You'll find your number at the bottom of the list on post 1of page 1. Please read through post 1 as it'll let you know exactly what to do with the challenge. PS. We always empty our pots and declare our savings near the end of November, please make a note of this year's date: 27th Nov.
Please also subscribe to the thread by clicking on "Thread Tools" (lower green bar) and clicking "Subscribe to this thread"...or you may lose us! To put your SPC No on, go to "Quick Links" (right side of top green bar), click and then click on "Edit Signature" and you're away.
*Please pop your numbers on your sigs, it really helps.
Well done, Helen, keep it coming. That lovely welcome also merits a gold star for you. :staradmin Many thanks.
Ah..I see what you mean about sparky, LC 2, take advantage of the cash, but fingers crossed for a fairly speedy return. BTW....your DH wouldn't have been able to gain access to your pot - IF it had been sealed now would he?!!
Excellent potting, Lynn (diddley) and you're most welcome to the help - any time!
You've been missed, Emily, but you've potted well so you're forgiven.Hope78 wrote:It's great to see I'm by the only one who gives their pot a 'shake' I swirl mine round to 'hear' how its filling up my wee niece has a pot at my house too and she (at 16months) rattles hers to hear her pennies!
It's lovely to hear that you're niece is already taking an interest in money, Hope, especially a savings one!! Keep her involved and she'll make the family a fortune...well, you never know! :j
Bank your cash by all means, mooomin, I hope it's a good total and please don't forget to pop it on your siggy, thanks.
You're welcome, littlepinkstars, and don't worry about having a slow start as you're not alone I assure you, but most important is that - you are saving!!mommyof4 wrote:Hi everyone
I hope no one minds me just popping in sporadically?! Really love this forum and don't get to come on as much as I would like! However I am still potting away
That's perfectly ok, mommyof4, so long as we still see you now and again and know you're potting..what more can we ask.
What a shame, skyblueshez, though hospital parking should be free! :mad:Well, so long as folk can be given something at reception to produce to say they're visiting or an out-patient. Don't be frightened to ask folk as we were given a pass when a dear loved one of ours was dying last May.
Thanks a lot for the link help, Saver-upper, a gold star for you. :staradmin Many thanks.
Not too bad a day today thank goodness, but WHAT a day yesterday...and that wind!!!!! I do hope everyone kept safe and will continue to do so as life is way too precious to be risking it. BTW, congratulations to Lizzy Yarnold on GOLD!!!!!! :THave a good Weekend, folk!
PLEASE NOTE everyone: It's time to change your numbers! You'll see there are LOADS less names and numbers now, but it's useless having folk on the list that no longer save with us. However, if old members return then you'll be made very welcome and can still have your name added and be given a new number. Please change numbers ASAP folks.
Sue x
Anyone wishing to join, please just ask, you're more than welcome, it's NEVER too late. Weekend hubby rummage achieved - well... he's got away with it lately as we have been home to Mr Flu, but more than made up for it today... hee hee.
We are changing our settee soon so need to really make sure no hidden pennies are sent away with the old one.Sealed Pot Challenge - No: 223

Evening all and what a change in the weather this afternoon.
No rain and clear skies up here now, but a frost tonight I'd imagine.
Potted 4 x £1 coins - one [STRIKE]locker[/STRIKE] road-kill.
So, I passed my £30 weekly target and good news is a nice Guy bought the bike, so £10 in the pot next week when I get the £10 changed. I was going to have a £20 target for next week, but that tenner will knock that up to another £30'er.
I'll go over the £300 mark next week sometime and I'm trying to hit £600 by the half-way mark and then go for that magic "GRAND".
I'm a slow finisher, so need to be ahead by the half-way mark. Jan/Feb/March are my frugal months, so I can save more then.
Before the Council Tax starts again in April!!
Keep potting away.

Evening all, hope everyone is surviving this lovely weather!! Still potting the odd bit of change. Received a surprise cheque the other day and so have already told DH that most of it will be going towards paying a bit of the credit card off!! It will also be paying for the car service and maybe a little treat!
DD has been poorly with a sick bug. She came down with it on Thursday night, but seems to be a lot better this evening.Enjoy half term for those that get to enjoy it.

Hello everyone :hello:
So sorry for being missing in action, but Ofsted called at schoolThis meant that I didn't spend any money for 3 days (bonus, admittedly) so ensured I had nothing to pot.
Having said that, I've just found 70p so I've potted it. The tin is making a LOVELY noise AND it's a decent weight!Sealed Pot Challenge #021 #8 975.71 #9 £881.44 #10 £961.13 #11 £782.13 #12 £741.83 #13 £2135.22 #14 £895.53 #15 £1240.40 #16 £1805.87 #17 £1820.01 declared0 -
