Sams can I suggest you wear trainers if your route home is mostly pavements? Much kinder to feet, knees and hips :)

Good thinking, Rosy, living in the country I tend always to wear walking boots, but then I'm mostly in fields or on grassy footpaths, a whole different story if you're on tarmac or concrete! :( Apart from that, you should know best walking wise with all the miles you clock up. Our DS has some N!ke "air (something)"ones he swears by and advises me to get and with all the trouble I'm having with my left knee I might just do so.

Sams, please be sure to see Rosy's post above!

£2.20 potted left over from a naughty takeaway x

Ah but, Saver, who was the naughty girl who bought the takeaway eh?! :naughty: Bet you enjoyed every last morsel of it too. :D

Ah, bless you, little_sweetie, :kisses3: though really it's only important to the couple celebrating it. We had a good day, but it was one of my rough ones so we didn't do much this year. Made up for it since though and had a lovely meal out this Thursday. ;)

I can't imagine what working nights is like, Meowhouse, still, no doubt it pays well so you can pot weller so good luck to you. :D

Well done on potting your budget left-overs, superrhinos! :j

Another £5 posted today!! Found it in my purse unexpectedly so thought I had no excuse to keep hold of it really.

Those are the ones to really take advantage of, beth2242, after all, if you're not banking on it for something why not pot it!! :D

10p saved is still better than 10p wasted, sh1305, keep doing that through the year and it could be a nice amount saved - as well as larger ear tagged amounts.

Good for you, BrandNewStart2014, that's the way to save, especially if you don't have much cash.

We didn't watch Piers Morgan with Neil Morrisey, Ruth, but well done him on doing the right thing.

Go to www.photobucket.com and make an account, click the orange 'upload' button at the top and select your picture from your computer. Once uploaded, select the picture and click 'edit' then 'resize' change the first size number to 400 and click save. On the right hand side click the link next to 'direct', come back here and click the little picture of the mountain above the reply box, delete out the http and right hand click, select paste and your link should get pasted in. When you post your reply your pic should be there and not absolutely massive :D

Brilliant work, jakes-mum! No idea what happened to JD's link, but I've linked your directions on the 1st post now so you have the credit on there, well deserved too. A gold star for your help. :staradmin
Thanks Jakesmum. Well it is official, I am stupid!!!!
I have opened an account, I can open a file and select photo but it wont upload. Sat here for an hour and now I give up. :(

NO! You're not stupid at all, mumof3plusoh! It's simply something you know little about. I can't help as I'm on Flickr, but jakes-mum will be back to help, you can rely on that, though have you clicked on "upload" or "open"? It'll come right.

    Hi skilly and good potting.

Excellent moomin!! Keep on holding that money back for your pot. :j

I'm saying absolutely nothing to what you said, AlwaysHappy, a safe bet....but excellent potting!

Absolutely terrible, Lynsey, so much could be said, but here's not the place for me to rant, though believe me, I could!! WHY!!
    Good potting.

I'm so pleased it's now all sorted for you, Nell, as you say, as if you didn't have enough to deal with! Though your rant at them must have pushed them into overdrive!

    Marvellous potting, Kerry!!!

Have a really superb weekend, folks, despite the weather!

PLEASE NOTE everyone: It's time to change your numbers! You'll see there are LOADS less names and numbers now, but it's useless having folk on the list that no longer save with us. However, if old members return then you'll be made very welcome and can still have your name added and be given a new number. forums.moneysavingexpert.com :D Please change numbers ASAP folks.

If you've already updated your No, please could you kindly make sure it's correct as I made a blunder to start with!

    Very many thanks indeed.

    Hi
Shopped at aldi today, was hoping to spend £40 max and came in at £38.40 so £1.60 potted! I really like this thread it is great putting your lose money in a pot before you get the chance to spend it on rubbish!
  • Potted 55p change from the kids lunches yesterday.

Was up and out early this morning. DS was running x country picked from the school with some friends to run for South Cheshire. Bless him he came 65th out of 75. Very proud of him as he is a natural sprinter not distance runner lol. The mud was horrendous. Everything washed and clean now, including DS! :rotfl::rotfl:

DD2 is off out for the Brownie Big Birthday, There are over 1000 Brownies going to the circus this afternoon. Very quite in our house this afternoon. DD1 is upstairs working on her AS Art final piece.
OH in bed as he is on nights. I really need to move my ample rump and go shopping but just having a brew first.:T:T

See you all later this evening for a catch up. x

Mumof3plusoh, your not stupid! I will go back on to photobucket and pm you step by step directions (was trying to do it on the ipad last night)

Oooo was in the supermarket today waiting at self service, was idley watching one of the other shoppers as you do when your bored, he puts all his shopping through but a bottle of wine, paid, picked up the wine out of the shopping basket and walked out the shop  went to the kiosk and told them what had happened, what till it was and said they should check their security video! What a blatantly cheeky so and so!

No pennies for today as paid with my card (for all of my shopping! :rotfl:)
