  • Hi, Can I join the challenge?

I'm a first time poster but long time lurker. I did the Sealed Pot Challenge last year and opened my pot this morning to a total of £505! Woo!

I also managed to get debt free last year so hopefully this year I'll be able to build my savings up.

Looking forward to getting to know you all

Aww bless you Hun :) my purse is usually classed as my holding pot as I've been ill and disabled for over 4 years and spend 95% of my life housebound, so don't have things like bus fares, school dinners and the like of other people to pay for, only the odd run to the shop round the corner for milk, so was more musing about potting it all and taking another £10er out the cash point if needed or holding on to it and leaving the bank alone . . . . Either way I don't get no bloomin interest on it :rotfl:

Might compromise and chuck half of them in :D £11 should see me through for a couple of weeks of milk and bread :D plus I don't like DH to know I've got a lot of cash in my purse as he always comes up with a way to spend it for me :rotfl::rotfl:

EDIT: oh and welcome all newbies (and oldies returning :rotfl:) sorry, been a bit lax with the hello's, still trying to get over Christmas and sort miss Lily's birthday.
