Lloyds bank asking for employment information

A business means that you should have a set of accounts which show where funds have come from.
It does not matter whether you work from your bedroom or run a PLC.
If they ask where the funds come from you have to answer truthfully - I can tell you now that running a business through a personal account is against the terms and conditions of every bank.
You might get away with it for a little while (maybe you have done so in the past) but eventually they will twig and give you so many days to open a business account or they might give you a warning of closure.0 -
OK. Well its been 13 years so far since I wrote to them to tell them that I was leaving employment to become self-employed, so I've had a good run.0
