    follow the link by the previous poster (typistretired ) select "apply for an additional classic account"
    I did.

    Clicking that takes me to a screen where i have to log in. When i apply when i am logged in i get the result i show in the screenshot.

    I could try applying as a new customer, but i'm not a new customer & this may result in my accounts being on different log ins like what happened when i applied for Vantage when it was Lloyds TSB.

DONE;
    ;I did first three weeks ago,had all the bumph, and 2 this week online
    one application every 24 hours, or you get that sceenshot.
    As has been said, once one is opened, 2nd and 3rd can be done by clicking," ADD another Classic account",Login and answer both questions Nationality,and Employment.and upgrade to Enhance as well;BUT, leave 24 hours between.
    If you apply for 2 on same day, it will say successful, but, it,s not;
    I am having the opposite problem,I cannot get online with Lloyds, A/cs are open and all set up,money in, standing orders set up, BUT, via phone,there,s a technical conflict between TSB and Lloyds "which will not allow me, and umpteen others, do online banking;;after several lengthy phone calls so far, to Lloyds,all they say",techie problems", it will be fixed, but don,t know when.It seems if you were a customer of either before the split, it affects the other technically.
    Seems they have NOT completely split ;yet; they are.still using the same servers.
    Perhaps OP should try another phone call;because, it can be frustrating.
    Computer says No, it,s No;
  • Are you on a tab by any chance?

    Anyway, how long did you leave between opening & ramping them up to £5k?

    When i opened my Lloyds TSB accounts the other year i deposited the full £6k in them immediately. This resulted in my accounts being blocked & a visit to my local branch for over an hour.

    I opened one.4/11/13, got ID and bumph by post, left it, then on 26/11/13,I did others online, bypassing all the data, by just clicking, add another Classic A/c, and answered job question, upgraded it to enhance, then I sent £1 as a tester within 10 minutes, then I put the full £5k in , after an hour,from Hsbc , which is fast track, my main account.
    The same 24 hours later,with the third, and set up Standing Orders when all three were open..Just checked that the £1k SO,s have been transacted internally, 1st of the month, and they have, today, as 1st was sunday.
    I cannot fathom out why you are having so much trouble with Tsb.
    Lloyds is my only trouble, but , they say it,s a techie problem, due to the split from Tsb, which they are trying to resolve, but, that,s only for online banking.
    I did exactly the same when I opened them, a month ago, and the Accounts are operating ok, I just cannot view them online, which is no big deal, as I,m not using them, they are just for savings @ 3%?
  • Yeah but i opened them with Lloyds TSB, set up the SOs & thought all was ok until the first month - the SOs never went.

    Turns out they'd blocked my account (& not told me) because i'd opened 3 in quick succession & put £18k through the 3 of them almost immediately. They thought it suss so blocked it, instead of blocking it & contacting me to say so, they thought they'd just block it & not bother to tell me.

    Hi
    Can I ask applying for these additional accounts in succession, we're you not credit checked repeatedly? Or is not not checked as you are an existing customer?

    Thanks

    Hi

    I tried to open additional lloyds accounts. It goes through the employment stage and says I'm successful but a few days later there is no sign of any new accounts?

    Does anyone know what has happerned?

    Also for tsb additional accounts the link takes you to opening a new account as oppose to an additional one?
  • Well everything set up & so payments sent. 3x £5,000 from Santander.

    Still waiting on it arriving.

    Strange, because when i sent £20k+ for my house deposit to my solicitor, it went instantly.

    Here we go...

    TSB_NO_zps7a5f7b6c.jpg

    Had to open the 2nd one by phone. Quite irritating really - 15 minutes it took while they go through all the legal bumf they have to do. Yes it's only 15 minutes, it's not the end of the world, but it's a bit of a nuisance when i can whizz through in less than 5 minutes online.

    I know this thread is old now but for those who, like me, get the message above.
    I have found that, when logged into internet banking, entering the following in the browser address bar.

    https://secure.tsb.co.uk/personal/a/secondary_account/

    gets you to the application for a secondary account.

    Also works for BoS
    https://secure.bankofscotland.co.uk/personal/a/secondary_account/

    and will most probably work for Halifax and Lloyds too with the appropriate domain name substituted.

    Anyone had any success with getting similar links to work for opening Lloyds accounts?
    If I've help in anyway, please remember to thank me :-)
