You could try a google search on the make & model. Some manufacturers put excellent manuals online.

Yes the fuel switch is switched on. I dismantled the carb about 4 days ago and put it back together. It didn't seem to bad althou there was a slight blockage in the screw that went into it which fuel travels through. Since putting it back it seems to be even worse. It was almost starting earlier in the week and there was some igniting of fuel but wouln't start. I did take it apart again with this guy who taught car mechanics or similar at school and put it back again with him. I wouldn't say he's an expert. I'm going to have another look at it later.
