Aw thank you!! Christmas eve was my birthday so it has made for a long celebration (commiseration?!). We will be sorry to leave tomorrow. I am chuffed though as I wanted to get myself something sparkly and could so easily have bounced through several hundred pounds with an antique piece (I am an absolute jewellery nut and used to own some truly astonishing pieces prior to my divorce) but I found a beautiful sterling silver piece with CZ which reminds me of a diamond ring I used to own and loved. It's very sparkly, rather large, and cost me £30! Happy birthday to me!!

Meanwhile, found 24p in roadkill on the walk through the city! Mr HOK3Y was getting fed up as I kept stopping to pick up coins and he didn't find any!

Found £1,5p,2p,2p,1p,1p,1p,1p at the mall today.
Not treasured notes,unfortunately.
The place to look (we found most of the coins including the £1) was near the ice skating rink:the surrounding area has stalls selling doughnuts,fairy-floss,waffles,etc.I was looking around where people stand holding their change waiting to be served.And the surrounding surface is not flat concrete,but a "honeycomb" design matting,so people have dropped coins in the matting and either dont hear it,or can't be bothered digging it out of a honeycomb shape about a cm deep :j.

2 trips to Tesc* netted me £2.09 - which I think doubled my total for the year:rotfl: and a fist full of WR for points capture Will be opening my road kill box tomorrow and distributing the finds
