We arrived in the most beautiful renovated hayloft yesterday and we're staying here over Christmas. Utterly chuffed to bits with ourselves - it's gorgeous! Copper jacuzzi bath with starlight ceiling, wood burning stove that we had going all evening, and a whole hamper of yummy stuff waiting for us.

Did this stop me googling the nearest A$da and going out receipt hunting?? Lol! Came back and claimed 70p on clicksnap and will check for vouchers when we get home. Also 3p richer!!!

SU, I about died laughing reading your post! You are a coin finding machine!!!

Yb you are doing really well too - long may it continue for you!

Splodge, you are very welcome! Here, have some more! :)

Cc, vending machines are great places to look and you are on a roll!

Went to a local garden centre to have kid's photo with Santa.I had primed my son, telling him to look carefully:lots of stalls, lots of crowds, busy shoppers......
As it was, when I walked in the centre,I remembered that there aren't lots of selling points throughout the centre(with lots of opportunities to find dropped coins),but only one final "paying hall" at the end :o.
So,only coins we found were after we had left for the day:in the carpark,at a doughnut stand, found 6p.
Tonight in Argos found 2p piece under the chairs where you wait to collect(this is the second time in a week I have found coinage under the chairs in Argos -DO CHECK HERE,MY FRIENDS!!).
Have a lovely time away,HOK3Y:sounds absolutely wonderful :j

  • I did it! I broke last month's total! :j I found a grubby penny outside the school on Wednesday and last night I found 10p at the bar at hubby's Christmas party! Not bad going as it was a free bar ;)

Even more surprising that I took full advantage of the free bar and I'm not hungover!

    Total of 19p today:
    1p in PO shop
    5p John Lewis cafe
    2p Boots
    5p Waterstones
    1p coffee shop
5p underneath the stand where they promote sky TV in the mall.
If anyone had asked me why I was looking under THAT counter,I would have told them I was reading the small print of their poster :rotfl:
I love finding lots of little bits of shrapnel.
Of course, big finds are exciting, but I still love continually having to bend down to pick up stuff, and put it in my roadkill pocket :D
