  • ASOS do a maternity range.

Have you tried searching Plus size maternity in google and seeing if it throws up any specialist sites?
  • my little one is now 5 weeks old, but I lived in my size 24 maternity jeans from bon prix. I was lucky enough to have a maternity uniform for work, so it was just casual clothes. In the summer I wore a big pair of cotton shorts at home and stretchy waist skirts when out. Tops were easier as I just wore loose tops. It really is worth searching ebay and charity shops for things in larger sizes.

I was plus size and pregnant over 20 years ago and still remember how difficult it was to find clothes with a professional look. I ended up wearing skirts and trousers with elasticated waists along with empire line or floaty tops and tunics. If you are in the sort of job that requires very smart clothes then I'd try Box 2. They are not cheap by any means (although their current sale makes them a little more affordable) but they stock very good quality clothes in great fabrics that are beautifully cut so would float over your bump. They don't have a maternity range but I'd guess something like this would be suitable for pregnancy:

Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.
  • I found isabella oliver stuff great when I was pregnant (brought off ebay, but they do have a good sale on atm), they go up to a size 20 and i found them quite generous (I was a 16 but fitted into a 12/14 quite comfortably), and they fit lovely over bumps. I brought most of my maternity clothes off ebay apart from work trousers which i ended up getting from next. Next time I think I'll just buy my maternity clothes from Isabella Oliver though as they are so comfy and I got fed up with my maternity trousers always falling down :)
  • I'm also plus-size (20-22 on top, 24 on bottom). I was pregnant to full term last year (but sadly lost him) and am 25 weeks now.

Like you I've bought from Next, Simply Be, and BonPrix. I've also bought from Old Navy in the US - it takes longer to arrive and doesn't work out particularly cheap once shipping and taxes are on there, but they have a decent range.

Tights-wise I made it to full term wearing my usual size (3 in nude, 2 in thick black ones) from Evans.

I also had great success on eBay, finding lots of stuff from the US and discontinued lines from the usual UK places.

I also switched to wearing cropped cardigans almost exclusively as they had no need to be maternity cut.

It is a total nightmare finding office-appropriate clothes though - personally I switched to dresses (empire lines are still keeping my bump secret and I'm still managing to fit into non-maternity stuff) which were much more versatile, and mixed it up with accessories.

    Good luck!

congrats! I have to say tops I mainly got 2 sizes up in charity shops and covered the gap with a bump band which means I can get away with wearing most of my t-shirts I already had. unfornately most maturnity stuff is sold on line!

Not pregnant, but good with shopping ;)

As above - definitely try ebay.

Also, Taking Shape worth a look. Not maternity, but plus sized so you may find something loose or suitable http://www.takingshape.com/uk/
