Eldest daughter is distraught, my Brother has put Mother and a care home and wont tell any of us where she is. My Family is close... cant you[/QUOTE]
What an awful situation for you I feel your pain as had similar problems with my control freak of a younger brother who did everything he could to prevent the rest of the family having any contact with our very sick Mum. It got so bad threats, violence and on one occasion tearing a door off its hinges to prevent us talking privately with Mum, that in the end we arranged to all go together but because of work commitments distance etc we could only arrange it once a week.
May suggest you contact age concern uk and see what they advise re finding your Mum, they are very good.Slimming World at target0 -

On Saturday we went over to Preston to visit mum in hospital, I did both afternoon and evening visiting and by the end was running out of things to say. She's looking very much better and will probably be out this week - I'm going up again on Thursday.

Sorry you're Mum's been in hospital, Snoozer. It's hard to fill the time in hospital visiting sometimes, isn't it? I've been visiting my mum every day for the past ten days or so and if she hasn't seen the Dr and I haven't done anything but visit her then ...?!Household: Laura + William-cat

Thanks, Jools. Unfortunately we didn't have such good news today. It seems she's lost part of the sight in one eye and may/not get it back so may/not be able to drive in the future. Ho hum.Household: Laura + William-cat
