So pleased you got your night out! I've told DH I want a night out on payday too...just the two of us! We'll see if it happens...
I reckon you'll be just fine with the MR away, I reckon the kids would fall apart if it were the mums going away (sorry to say that) but my kids like yours are so used to their dad going away that the last time Mr DF went the kids only asked 4 days after he'd already gone  Whereas I went out one evening to a meditation group and left DH to put the kids to bed, well DS2 had a complete melt down thinking i'd left him and cried himself to sleep  I couldn't imagine what they'd be like if I went for more than a few hours!!! lol xxMORTGAGE BALANCE when we moved Aug 2024, £120,000. Thanks you all for your posts.
I will try and reply tomorrow properly. Not much time at the moment. MR PG has arrived safe and sound though after a very long journey in Cattle Class. No Business Class in our line of work anymore, those were the days !
Exams appear to be going well. Lots of very early starts though, todays 7am revision session was a culture shock for DD1 , she does love her bed that girl !
DD2 doing fine, I came home to find her making Apple Crumble instead of revising for her Science Exam ! It was lovely though, so I let her off. Shes getting dippier by the minute though, she managed to walk out of the front door today without her school shoes on, and climbed into the car in her socks, totally and utterly unaware ! There is no hope ! :rotfl:
DFW , I will Pm you and let you know where we went for our night out, it wasn't far from you and somewhere I have wanted to go for years xxLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Quick early morning post.
DD1 off to school for another 7am REvision Session. Shes not too confident about this exam, but as I said what will be will be. She needs to keep away fromt eh the other kids that are stressing out about it thougth and keep calm and think logically.
Payments made to the creditors this morning and signature updated again.
Few Cashflow problems here, managed to teach DD1 all about those ready for her Business Exam.
Remittance came in from a client who regularly pays us on a Friday and it shows in our Account on a Tuesday. The remittance arrived as usual last Friday but so far there is no sign of the money. Grrrrr. Just hope the Cashflow question is in DD's paper this morning as I'm sure she will score top marks for that after my ranting the last couple of days !!
Not quite sure where to start today, I have so much on my list I am finding it hard to prioritise.
Think I will make a quick coffee and take stock xxxLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Thankyou. I got a few things marked off the list but not enough.:(
The exam went "Okay ish ". She said she just wrote and hoped for the best . The revision session was apparently no use whatsoever and alot of what I revised with her didnt come up in the exam although her head was so fuzzly that I am unsure exactly what did actually come up instead ! Something about Stables and Horses and painting houses was all she could recollect !:rotfl: She is busy studying for her second English Lit paper which is tomorrow . Thankfully there is no early morning revision session so we get a lie in ! Whoopee !
I chased up the missing money. They insisted it would show some time today, it didnt. They say it has been paid in the normal way and they have definately paid us and can see no reason as to why we dont have it. Spoke with the bank who say there is nothing showing as pending coming into our account from them or anyone else for that matter. Have chased it up again but needless to say a response wasn't forthcoming this afternoon. My bug bear here is that a) its bank holiday next weekend therefore if they are messing about and didnt pay after all despite the remittance it will now be held up until at least next Tuesday (assuming they pay tomorrow) and b) they owe us fairly large sum of money that is due to be paid this coming Friday to show next Wednesday due to bank holiday and I am worried if that will arrive on time and I really really need it as its the mortgage for this month. This is a huge company, we have never had trouble before, been working with them for years. Trouble is with Mr PG away and needing money for food etc, half term coming, bills as usual that need paying and DD2 going off to Spain on her School Netball Tour on Saturday, I really need this cash. DD2s Trainers are falling apart and I had promised her a new pair but as I explained tonight if the money doesnt show then she wont be able to have any as she needs her spending money as well yet. Grrrrr !! Of all the weeks for this to happens its as Mr PG leaves and DD2 is due to go away. Always the way !
Ho Hum !! Best I stop ranting now. Off to tackle the ironing pile instead. Yuk ! xxLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !
