I think getting it down £60,0000 is indeed absolutely amazing and I'm seriously in awe of the work the whole family has put in to make it happen. Huge, huge congratulations, and thank you for posting such a comprehensive upate. I don't follow very many DFDs but those that I do are very real people to me, and there's nothing more heartening than hearing it's progressing. Good luck with the court case.Better is good enough.0

Hiya,
Its lovely to see you, hope you are all good.
Just dropped in today to do a quick update on the PG National Debt. I'm feeling impatient today with it all and just want the lot gone now so we can start over afresh.
We Need to sign as guarantors this week for DD1s Uni House for Year 2. It always fills me with dread incase we get turned down due to our zero credit rating, and if that happens Im not sure what we would do in that instance. Year One worked out ok, so I guess they didn't do too many checks on us  but with this being a private rental its worrying me a bit. I think DD is going to the estate agents to sign papers this afternoon. The plus side is that the new house is cheaper than we are currently paying by approx £1K , so thats some extra money to throw at something else. Every little helps !
In family news, Mr PG is away again after heading home for the weekend where we celebrated a big birthday on his families side. DD1 is now back at Uni ( again ) after my mammoth dash to collect her last week when she was really really poorly with this rotten flu that so many people seem to be coming down with. Once more its just DD2 and I . She has a big French exam this week, so I'm treading on eggshells as well as shovelling Rescue Remedy down her at every given opportunity as shes getting very very stressed . I'm trying every which way I can to help her learn it but my french is appalling. I can read it ok but apparently I am a hindrance when I try and speak it :rotfl:.
She will do just fine, she always does, but the lead up to it is always rotten as she gets in such a tizzy.
Roll on Friday when it will all be over ....for now at least !
Right....well that's my burble for today, have a good one xxxxLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !
