Mrs PG's Hopes & Dreams for a debt free future !

Well done on the complaints, I don't care if you make a habit of it, if it's bringing financial reward that's good enough for me.
Re debt collectors, answer the call, refuse to answer any security questions, tell them to put their query in writing. By not answering their security questions, they cannot give out any financial information and therefore you are not admitting to owing the money. If/when they write you can deal with it then in a much pleasanter way.
Granny update - some F&Fs accepted but half not. Now paying £1pm to 5 predators, hardly breaking the bank so although my DFD is now beyond my lifetime, I'm finding it so much easier to deal with.
Off to Oz for 11wks on my own to see DD in 6 wks time. Have lost 3 stone in flab fight, many more to go but going in the right direction. DD doesn't know about weight loss, looking forward to seeing her beautiful surprised face.
Next operation is likely to be done in May/June and looking very much like I won't need the third. Feeling really positive about that. Not looking to go back to work, or look for a job as I don't currently have one, until next autumn/winter. oH being very supportive about that.
DGC are all fantastic. Girlies spend most of their time with me reminding me how much they love me. Little man has warmed to both O.h & I over the festivities and is as delightful and delicious as his sisters.
Life is good in general.
There, no need to read my rambles now
Granny x
Granny that was a fab update, thankyou so much. I do love reading your ramblings on your diaries though and stories of the DGC ! How could I have forgotten about Little Man though ?! Shame on me ! They all sound amazing and clearly adore their Granny.
I bet you cant wait to see your gorgeous daughter. I remember you booking the flights now you mention it. That seems to have come around so quickly ! How proud she will be to see her new glam svelte like Mum !
As for the F&Fs, grr to them, but if the token payments give you breathing space then so be it ! I think our Debts will outlive us also, but for now I am trying not to care, hence why I have never even bothered trying to obtain a debt free date. At the beginning it was far to scary to contemplate, and now I just cant really see the point. What will be will be.
So glad OH is being supportive of you and everything is relatively well healthwise. Fingers crossed there will be no need for third op. Thankyou so much for your update, its lovely to know how you are doing.
As for my Predator phone calls, you are correct in that we never enter into conversation. Mr PG answered the phone thinking it was a client, but he neither confirmed nor denied anything. We have dealt with the phone calls before pre LBM , but I am trying to get this particular account statue barred, having had no contact for three years, so if we end up in any form of communication that will blow that out of the water. But in the meantime the calls are getting a bit tricking as they are calling the house which I am having to tell the girls not to answer and the mobiles of which we use for work and as we have calls from all sorts of random numbers, Its tricky trying to decide which will be work calls or which will be the Predator !
We will get there though, I think I may ask BT to change to the home number. xx
Right must dash, got an interesting meeting today and I had best not be late xx

Do they always call from the same number? Is your phone line with BT? If yes to both, sign up to caller display, free with BT if you sign up to a new 12mth contract. Get yourself a phone with call barring and block the s0ds. You can also block them on your mobiles xTargets

:rotfl::rotfl:You do make me laugh !
We have Caller Display so we can see whos calling, the house phone we jut ignore, but sometimes the children go to answer it, infact DD1 who I think has guessed what its all about was desperate to answer it yesterday in a silly voice !! I managed to stop her in time , but next time I may just let her !
The calls aren't worrying me, just annoying me . I can easily write them the usual "Bu£££r off and stop calling letter" I have sent enough of them in the past. As I said before I just dont want to start up contact again with them as I currently dont pay anything at all for these debts as they coudlnt provide me with the original agreement. I would like to keep it that way if I can !! Maybe I shall send something signed "from the owner of telephone number ........."
Oh and in answer to your question they call from a variety of numbers, but they are usually similar. Its the calls to the mobiles that are difficult to field due to work. We get calls from all over the world so its hard to be picky and choosy which we answer !
It will all come out in the wash I'm sure xxLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Quick update on my quest to become a professional complainer !
I have just received a beautiful "sorry" gift from a Company who didn't delivery on time over Christmas. I told them that I was disappointed, in a very nice way of course, with their Customer Service, as they didnt call me back when promised or let me know what was happening. I had to do all of the donkey work and make numerous calls to find out what was going on with the order. . The gift is a beautiful candle, of which some of you may remember from when back when, in my original diary I think, I am candle crazy . Due to funds I cant regularly indulge in my smelly habit, so this was just the perfect gift for me ! I am over the moon. Now I need to keep it away from DD1 who is developing her mothers enthusiasm for such things !
In work news, we have picked up some business up for today so things are just about ticking over for January and everything should get paid on time . Yesterdays meetings went well with a few potential longish term contracts int he pipeline for a few months time. Longish for us mean a couple of weeks, but that's good enough for us .
Hope Friday is good for you all and you have some nice plans for the weekend xxLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Great news about the candle and the work.
I had a parcel go missing before Christmas, gifts for DD so not important that it arrived in time, but even so. I contacted the company 6 times with no joy and in the end escalated the matter to a PayPa! dispute. I was fully refunded.
This morning the package has arrived with an extra gift as a sorry it's late, dated the day after I had a refund! Clearly one side doesn't know what the other is doing.
Have a great Friday and a good weekend xTargets

You have too much on your plate to bother with my diary PG!!
Quick run down for you instead - DH has gone almost 6 weeks since last full seizure. Last seizure episode lasted 3 days though so we are in the process of changing medication. Boys are both fine, youngest is 5 next week, and I've given up Beavers after almost having a breakdown trying to do everything!! Trying to melt fat and debt in equal measures at the moment, so no changes there then!!
Good news on the £160 off the utility bill! Well done XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Thankyou so much for your update Be Lucky ! Keeping everything crossed for DH and really hoping the new medication helps. I cant believe that your youngest is 5, I swear he was only about two when we stumbled across each other ! How time flies !
I am pleased that you have given up Beavers, you have far far too much going on and how you have managed to keep everything going for this long is beyond me. Hope you take a bit of time out for yourself ! Whoopee to the debt and fat busting, last time I read the fat busting was going well ( as was the debt obviously ) !Take care of yourself x
I loved your update thank you !! xxxLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !
