Cranium? You play that in teams and there's different types of questions/tasks to be done. I've only played it once but we were all in hysterics with laughter.0

Logo game is great. Or you can create your own type of Trivia Pursuit...if you have time. Like sticking pictures of celebrities on cards and asking who it is, and having different categories. Good for a range of age groups.0

Wow Logo is definitely popular!! Will search the Internet for a good price
a game that's not been suggested but I've read great reviews is Absolute Balderdash - has anyone played this? I suppose it could be played in pairs rather than individually to help my auntie out, although I think she would be ok at it.
Thank you for the great suggestions, very helpful!!0 -
I recently found this ebook at CognitasOnline dot com and it has loads of great ideas for traditional family entertainment on a budget. It is called 'Christmas Party Games for all ages' and it is just crammed full of ideas for fun games for everyone from small children to elderly grandparents. I bought it direct from Cognitasonline.com but I have also seen it on Amazon.co.uk. It is only £2.99 and for that it seems like a really good deal for giving a really good range of Game ideas.0

Absolute balderdash is a great game! Its good for all ages, and although we've never played it in teams, I cant see why you wouldn't be able to!0 -

For an ad hoc bit of fun for all you could always try The Camping Game. It sounds really stupid but gives a lot more fun than you would think possible, and although not a team game as such it involves everyone until the game ends.
OK, I'll start.
"My name is Samsmoot and I'm going camping. When I go camping I am going to take with me a spoon".
Your turn.
"My name is Missymoo and I'm going camping. When I go camping I am going to take with me ............."
Depending on your answer you can either come camping or not, and if you can then everyone else who can also come camping will shout out "YOU CAN COME CAMPING!", and if not, in a less enthusiastic tone, say, "You can't come camping".
The game ends when everyone can come camping.0
