I love both logo and absolute balderdash. I wouldn't recommend absolute balderdash for someone whose first language isn't english though, game is hard enough as it is. I'd vote for logo. :-)0

Try Werewolf (also called M a f i a ) - not a board game but brilliant for big groups, and no purchase cost involved!

my sister bought mexican dominoes a couple of years ago - once you got the hang of it it was good fun but she always buys a new game for the "family" and has done for many years - basically it means her boardgame collection gets bigger and bigger
