    I would agree with Pen-Penguin. Sounds more like a pumpkin of some kind. Or, if it smells fruity, could it be a Christmas melon?

    the mystery continues, i dont its one of the abobe, skin is a lot more mottled and it points more at base.

    Thanks to everyone for help - i have mailed company to let me know so will keep you posted.

    Any other suggestins in meantime?
