I spent my youth hitching all over the uk following my football team...
Doubt if it is any more dangerous today!
Just people are more wrapped up..It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.0 -

My friend knew two people who went to liverpool and both were the victim of crime.
Maybe your friend is wary about this but is afraid to say something?

My friend is very reliable and see no reason why she would lie. Although I've never spoken to the two people she referred to.

Not a good idea really, remember the Wests, they picked up hitchers and then tortured and murdered them. Hitching is not good for personal saftey.0 -
