Planet East Ltd. I'm pretty sure it used to be Planet PVC, St.Ives Nuffield Road.

I take it this has been liquidated too? How do I get the fittings repaired under the under writers guarantee. We don't seem to have that information, only a deposit guarantee.
My elderly parents bought the windows in Jan 2008(I'm sure they wouldn't have noticed that planet PVC went bust and the iffy name change.)

Any info on how you go about sorting problems out in this situation would be a big help. Thanks.

So were your parents given details of the 'under writers guarantee' (do you mean 'insurance-backed guatantee'?). What 'fittings' required repair or replacement??

I'm sure I've used the wrong description, I haven't a clue about these things, having never bought them myself. They don't seem to have been given anything with insurance details apart from a deposit guarantee.

I'm guessing its a damaged door hinge(or 3), as the whole door has dropped and no longer shuts fully, difficult to lock, and the door handle inside and out is peeling off its finish.

Were you asking that to help or just point out my mistakes?:(
