DH has just rung, they've got his scan results back and have now decided that it is an abscess in his jaw/ throat and they are going to operate on him tonight. He'll probably have to stay in hospital for another week. I asked him again if he wanted me to go out but he didn't see any point in me doing so. He sounded a bit fed up, especially at the timescale, but I said to him that if they are right then he'll have made a major step towards getting better by tonight. Fingers crossed.

Oh, and he told me the holiday we have booked away for later this month will probably fall by the wayside. Think he was not wanting to tell me, but I'd already been working on that basis. At least the dogs will be happy.

Ahhhh I do hope he is feeling better soon.
My brother lived abroad for several years in diff countries and was in hosp twice, I have to say that the treatment that he got out there was far better and a lot more speedy than what he would have got if he had been in the uk.
Where is your DH?
Hopefully by this time tomorrow he will be much better

Boss is out so I've just printed out my christmas card labels, ready for sticking and writing tonight. Collecting cards tonight (DS did a hand print in paint for Father Xmas's beard, looked cool so I've been sucked in to buy cards from school this year:D) I fully intend to post them all on Friday :T:xmassign: Can you tell I love christmas?

My sis in law does this every year and emails round to us - she's more christmas-sy than me.. It's fab isn't it :T:D

Next doors burglar alarm is going off.
I did the neighbourly thing and stuck my head round the door and noticed their actually home
I shouldn't chuckle but they can't seem to turn it off :rotfl: it's not bothering me too much as I've turned the telly up (double glazing doing its job for once ) but my freeview signal has gone to pot so I'm wondering if it's interferring with that :think: (I know buses and mobiles screw with the signal but a burglar alarm? )

Its brilliant, I love it I have emailed it to the people concerned. And yes KL, I have got Asbo on it too in the past :rotfl:


Her voice seems to be getting stronger every day, although still a bit raspy. I'll know more when I get home from work which will be sooner because I dont have to faff about going to Morrie's on the way home for selection boxes
