It's just one of those things, I'm afraid. I've been doing this for nearly two years and haven't won a thing. But like others have said, you have to be in it to win it - it's all the luck of the draw!

Wow that is dedication, not sure I could have kept it up that long without a win! I really really hope the comping fairy brings you something amazing!
    Started comping again Sept 2013
    Best wins: Currys wishlist, 3 Laptop's, a PS4 and an Espresso machine • fridge freezer • £100 M&S vouchers
46 wins totalling approx £3000 since September 2013
.•* Thank you to everyone that posts competitions*•.

When I feel fed up with comping then I stop for a bit. I usually find that I then receive a win or two in the post from competitions that ended ages ago, which spurs me on to have another go.

A few years ago I won three or four decent prizes.

This year my new year's resolution was to enter at least one decent competition a day, for things I like. I usually enter more than that, and many more than in the previous years. I have not won a thing. Again, I view it as a hobby, getting to know about new products and different companies.

I have had £100 premium bonds for 15 years and never won anything either.

I figure that karma is telling me that other people need it more!
:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.

Ha ha, it has been a long time and it does make me want to give up, sometimes. But then I think... what if a win is just around the corner?!
  • I'm in the same boat. I started comping last June and had a wonderful first six months. But this past year has been HORRIBLE for wins! I've stopped entering competitions twice now but always came back. I keep telling myself something has to give soon and I have to be in it to win it! Keep on going! I know it's hard when you see everyone else posting about their really nice wins - it's easy to get disheartened. But your time will come! I'll send some lucky dust your way! xx

I haven't won anything for months now but I have had some very nice wins in the past so I will carry on, anyway what else is there to do when the weather is just awful and you have retired at long last.
  • A win will come hun and usually happens in a run of luck. Keep the faith and good luck :)
