    Afternoon all!
A wee bit chilly today, so I have a pot of lentil soup bubbling, and a sausage and bean casserole in the slow cooker. Uniforms ironed for the next 2 days, and am now planning to sit on my behind and do nothing but read or play games all afternoon, can't be bothered to move! Hopefully my GUAG will return next week as I am off work and need to restore order to this midden of a house!
    Have a good day all!

NAR, tbh I've more or less come to terms with not knowing, I know it's not life threatening just painful and frustrating. Even if they do say it's fibromyalgia there doesn't seem to be a lot they can do about it. It would be good though, when I'm not feeling good to be able to give other people a reason for it.

    Afternoon all!

Feeling a bit meh this week :( which is a shame and really not like me.
    Hopefully it will pass soon.

Had a result today and got a free Able and Cole code so have a £25 fruit and veg box being delivered on Monday for nothing!

    Hope everyone is okay.

Not much to report, didn't want to get out of bed this morning, but dragged myself and even managed a quick walk with the dog (glad I did that, as I'm trying so hard to walk him every morning) Need to put more attention on house work, the place is a depressing mess. So Kitchen and bathroom tonight.

One day left of work as have Friday off, with OH so counting down til 5pm tomorrow!!

    xx

Unfortunately you are correct, there is no cure, just pain relief medication which may or may not work. My OH has just changed medication and I am really hoping it is more effective than the last lot. She has some good days, some ok days and some awful days, so you certainly have my sympathy. :grouphug:

Thanks for stopping by, Hilstep. I think I know how you feel - if I'm having a rough time I tend to retreat from the world; just popping in and waving is fine, if that's what you feel up to doing.:o
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
  • Oh dear virtual hugs to you both and for anyone else who needs one.

I've just got back from the theatre where I went with DD this afternoon. What a terrific show it was We saw Blood Brothers at Dartford Orchard theatre and Maureen Nolan was Mrs Johnson.Terrific cast and the show got a huge standing ovation, brilliant afternoon and I am still buzzing about it.Just about to go and delve in the fridge for some dinner.
Have a good evening everyone and keep warm as its jolly nippy at the moment

well after i got off here the cats were bouncing and i mean bouncing, don't know whats wrong with them.
They tortured, came back after meeting and they there trying to open the fridge, little nuggets that they are.

So i came home and by 5pm i had two kids and three cats following me everywhere and i mean everywhere. In the end i had to shut the toilet door to give myself a break :o
OH is still at work so just waiting for him to come back then he can get fed.

The rain is going crazy here, real torrential mix of rain and hail stones and it is bitter out there. Really nasty. glad i'm not out in it.

    Evening all,

Happy Birthday to Jacks Daddy, hope he enjoyed the meal. My dh is always much happier with thoughtful presents like a cake and home made card. I'm sure he loved it.
LW and HS have a big hug, hope you feel better soon x
Hester congratulations on the twins how lovely.

I've had another busy day. I've been an the dentist again to have the permanent filling removed as the temporary had solved the toothache and now it's back. Hopefully it will settle now but I'm not convinced, I can't remember what it was like without toothache:(
I've just been to visit my cousin who had a knee replacement 3 months ago, sadly it's not worked the knee has moved and she has to have it redone. It's not put me off as it's very rare. Think she is just unlucky, feel so sorry for her.
I've got a question for the doggy people. She has a little jack Russell cross they got about a year ago. A lovely little dog that they got when their old jack Russell sadly passed aged 17. Well Alfie had settled in wonderfully but she has three boys 13,17 and 20. The dog has taken a dislike to the 20 yr old and growls and snarls whenever he enters the room or comes in from work. They are all dog lovers and little Alfie is thoroughly spoilt. No one can understand why he has taken such a dislike to the eldest, who is a lovely quiet gentle lad, although very tall, he gets along famously with everyone else and this has only started in the last few months, any suggestions??
I've popped a few more bits in my bag for hospital, it's beginning to feel very close, I'm scared to death!
Anyway hoping for a peaceful evening. In front of the fire. We really enjoyed the Tudor Farm last week so shall watch that.
Have a good evening all x

Late post for me, I've been cooking up a storm since I got in from work but now the cakes are all ready.
I'm still on cloud 9 with DD's news & her hubby is so excited too.
I've read the thread but nothings sinking in, so hugs to all.
