Apple muncher's number crunching

Today I trod on some staples. 3 of them, all joined in a clump. I had to yank them out of my heel. I was barefoot. Ouch!

I sold zilch at the indoor market. But asked a fellow stallholder for advice and got some good ideas on packaging stuff up in bundles.

Pip had their GCSE drama performance this evening, plus one of their dance exams. They are only just in bed, will miss first period tomorrow, and will also come home at the start of lunchtime.

Pip made it through 2 lessons this morning and has had a chilled afternoon.

I needed plain black wool, plus the reddish colour for HP scarves, so went to the ch shops and found exactly what I wanted. Plus a few other bits and pieces! 8 compatible printer ink cartridges, a pair of dungarees for Pip, a Dr Seuss tee for dh and a couple of Cmas knick knacks (sp?) all for £5 😎.

Wow, nearly a week has gone by...

Pip is still mad busy and this week had a theatre trip up in Lunnon town on Tues evening and got to bed around midnight. And they have insisted on going in every day, all day, plus after school help sessions. Tomorrow they will go in for 9, so can have a bit of extra sleep. And there's the written part of the drama exam in the afternoon.

But no dance on Saturday, so a little break there.

I commented to DH the other day about how much I'm now spending on food compared with just a few months ago. He pointed out that I'm now the one doing 95% of the shopping now that I'm not working. It all makes sense now 🤣.

We can't let Mr Apple and Mr F-H go food shopping together. It would be a disaster!  I think every single psychological trick they play to make you buy more expensive stuff works on the men in my family. It is bizarre to watch them in the supermarket.  They are so susceptible to it all.  They are the target victims.

I got up and out for a 6.30 am exercise class today. Go me! It was a virtual one in the studio and I was the only one there, puffing and panting away.

It turned cold today, so tomorrow I must clean the bannister and get the stair 'curtains' up again. Pip is excited at being able to creep up on me more easily!!!

I have finished sewing 2 big purple elephants. The last person to use my sewing machine was my sister at half term! 

Now to try making a needlefelted capybara for my niece.

A little under the weather over the weekend - throat and chest hurting - so I'm taking it easy.

Dh is opening a junior ISA for pip.

I have looked up pip's exam dates for the summer and put them on the calendar. Then I put on their mock dates. Then I put on my invigilation slots. Time consuming but worth it.
