Apple muncher's number crunching

Well, y3+4 were little darlings. Another good Tuesday done and dusted.

Pip is still completing full days at school plus either staying on to do some hwk or coming home and doing some straight away. They're determined to keep on top of it all.

But they're struggling more each morning... We try for earlier nights but last night, for example, pip was out until late (for them) but still needs the same unwinding time if they are to be able to fall asleep.

I'm trying a new exercise class today. Power pump!

Picked up 2 f+v boxes cos they were just so good:

1 pack Romain heart lettuce (2)

1 long yellow pepper

1 normal yellow pepper

1 pack celery

1 pack basil leaves

1 punnet cherries

2 oranges

2 small cabbage

2 parsnips

2 packs of radishes

2 punnets blueberries

2 punnets grapes

3 punnets rasps

3 lemons

4 red peppers

5 bananas

10 carrots

I'm a happy apple!!!

And power pump will hit me tomorrow, I'm sure. I really enjoyed it and the time flew by. Though I managed to turn up an hour early, oops, so went and did some incline walking on the treadmill.

Power pump has already hit! It must be hilarious watching me try and get up off the floor... I might just stay here for a while longer...

I've made a very veg-filled 'spanish' omelette (currently in the slow cooker) and a big salad using up odds and ends as well as the celery and half a gazillion radishes. Much of the fruit is in a deluxe fruit salad. I'm rather impressed with myself for using so much already and getting the rest into the fridge!

Trying to do work for school. Really don't want to do work for school. But it needs doing. Exam flippn analysis. Blimmin appraisal docs. And a ucas reference for a lovely kid. Analysis and ucas need doing by Fri. Just can't get motivated. Especially as to wht I'm going to do to make my subject great. It's not MAGA, it's MFGA....Ugh. So I'm off to read my book. Then collect pip. Ya boo hiss to analysis. (for now...)

We did manage to get out for lunch at a place that has a gluten free menu. Yes, I had a choice of food! And because pip went to school, we were able to get there. The last couple of times that we tried before had had to be cancelled. But in my cheesecake, there was a piece of plastic wrapping. They gave me another piece. That one had plastic in the biscuit base, so was obviously in the whole thing. So we got complementary yummy ice cream. And 2x £10 off evening meal vouchers.

We were out of the house for 9 hours, did over 250 miles, interacted with lots of lovely people and we're very happy to be home yesterday. It was a joint bash for my cousin's wedding +my auntie's birthday. Basically, it was a reunion of my cousins and their kids, of which pip is the youngest and the eldest must be around 30 now. It was lovely.

I slept for a solid 9 1/2 hours and only woke because I'd set an alarm. Pip did really well but needs a rest day today. I'm glad that there's no school tomorrow!
