Poor dh - he is very happy that today is his last day of extra caretaking. 2 extractions = pain. Yesterday he was up at 5.40 to go and caretake until 2 ish, then home and off on the trek to the dentist, then back home going via the school to lock up, 10mins at home gave him time for a quick shower and painkillers before heading out to do PA for a band rehearsal, and he grabbed a lift home, getting back for 10pm. Then up again at 5.40...
Today - my first day of the hols :j - will probably be just like any other Friday, but will include the school run, library, sainz, shred, the Tour, Wimbledon , knitting, and a snooze. (I didn't sleep well - woke at 3.33 and then at regular intervals after that)NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
School run - done. Dd's year are off to a local scout place for climbing, assault course and bonfire after lunch and a friend is bringing her home .
The library got missed out because my bags were heavy with shopping. I found a points receipt for 40 points in sainz, so claimed that.
I have done shred #5 and can settle down for the rest of my taxing list: Tour, Wimbledon, knit, snooze...NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Finally got in a snooze. Okay, it was several, as the doorbell rang and woke me. I'm v surprised I fell asleep again. I even missed the last few km of the Tour...
Dd's school is having a healthy eating week - which she hates as she gets upset when she has to record what she eats and other people see it. However, it has been a really good thing as she has tried to increase her fruit/veg intake each day, to reach the 7 a day goal. Okay, so I have played fast and loose with what constitutes a 'portion', but I am seriously proud of my formally-nearly-food-phobic munchkin. And she plans to continue with it
The shred dvd has had a rest today as a couple of muscles round my left hip were too sore and hurty to do it today. Back to it tomorrow, possibly with a couple of modifications... thinking of replacing the static lunges (which I have already replaced with Bulgarian split squats) and the side lunges with simple squats as that should not aggravate the niggles...NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Sorry apple I've just realised that my posts always contain a little bit of predictive text nonsense! Will read them more carefully, although asking you if a fox has seen your toe did make me giggle!

Earthgirl - I confess I hadn't even noticed! I guess I must autocorrect it automatically in my head!
Off to shred again... I fear that if I 'leave it until later' then I won't ever get around to it.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
I didn't notice either. Sandals sound good.0

Great result with sorting wealth, life well lived and health. Maybe see about the toe. I've forgotten, has a fox seen it before? Healing vibes and hugs x

Shred #7 done, hip no worse, so all good. I still find all the exercises challenging, and am wondering what level 2 will have in store... Only 2 more days at level 1. Gulp.
I accompanied dd and her class to a concert where they were singing. We were on the front 3 rows so had eye contact with the orchestra and the 3 narrators (one used to be in Tracy Beaker, which excited dd no end), plus we had the experience of hearing all the singing from behind us. Awesome. Dd is very happy in her class - I had the chance to tell the Head and to thank her for moving dd.
Got inspired to make some lavender bags this afternoon. Tomorrow I plan to sew up the final seam and also add more decoration, ribbon, pretty stuff.
We are meeting friends for lunch tomorrow at thelocal harvester - safe for me to eat and not too expensive. Anyhow, we have the £40 I saved a few weeks ago by not frequenting the same place.
My sandals are a good fit, comfy and I am basically unaware that they are new. A well spent £3, that was.
No fox has seen my toe... It is still a little swollen at the end of the day, and does have limited bendiness. But I am able to shred and do plenty of walking, so will continue to keep an eye on it.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Glad you had a great time at the concert and the toe continues to improve. Enjoy your lunch.15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j

We had a lovely catch up with our friends. The food was £24 and the drinks another £19. Guess where they make their money...?
I have done shred #9 and tomorrow I move up to level 2. Gulp.
Today I have made/finished 20 (!) gorgeous lavender bags andcut out 7 dolly/teddy combos.
I have also booked us a holiday. Eek. North Wales. Easily accessible by train - in fact there is a direct train there from Lunnon and the train cost is reasonable for the 3 of us - off-peak, bien sûr. There is a 24 hour tosco round the corner - hence gf/df food should be easy to obtain. And several gf eateries nearby. Job done.
Right. I fancy egg and chips for tea. Best go do some prep.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0
