Dd made six Easter cards for various teachers last night, and they all got a creme egg + cosy too!

Had a trundle around ch shops aplenty today. Felt like going on my own and taking my time. For under £12, I now possess 2x pairs of pumps/trainers for dd (soles show they are almost brand new), a barbie dvd she doesn't have, 3 lovely books (including Little Women,) a small red satchel/bag for me (turns out it is a lunch bag!), 2 brand new bright pink flannels, a summery exercise top. And NO fabric or wool :T.

Lunch has seen me consume my 7 veg.

    Workout #2 done - supposedly a beginners/recovery one :rotfl: Bunny slope #13.

    Day 3/50.

ZWOW 35 done, resulting in a beetroot-coloured face!

    7 veg done at lunch.

We went on an excursion this morning, to pick up a zelf thingy dd wanted. She paid for it herself. Also bought her more play doh - decent offer. Then to b+q for 4 pots of paint, getting the most of their bhol offer. And then to c0sta using the treat pot money.

Dh is on his way to H'row now, to pick up dsd from Oz. He may be a while...

Day 4/50 and workout 4 done: bunny slope 14. Another ooph one!

    Plenty of veg consumed.

Confession: after going to a local church's Easter FunFair where everything was free, dd and I went on a curtain hunt this afternoon. She found a duvet cover that I can make into curtains, and a box of Betty Spaghetti stuff, and I found 4 small balls of wools of varying pinks.

Catching up. Glad chicks found new homes :)
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

Gosh, what a mishmash of weather! The 2 leaks haven't been too bad...

Day 5/50 and workout 5 done - ZWOW 36. Coped with it rather well, but suspect it may return and turn my legs to jelly later...

4 veg thus far - must ensure I get the rest in at teatime.

Dd is watching a Barbie Spy Squad movie and is obviously poorly as she does not usually sit still for this long. We are both Betty Spaghetti-ed out, having assembled, disassembled and reassembled them various times.

Am losing track of spending, as was trying to get dh to also note down his spends. He was willing to do it, but we then both missed a couple of days, which has thrown me! I must be very easily sidetracked...

Tis a tad blowy out there. Woken up early(ish)by the wind, I went out for a walk - partly because I needed to get out, partly because I love walking in the wind, partly to see what damage had been caused. Nearly didn't get out of the front door as the hallway rug was sodden. Pesky leak #2 living up to its name. But I bravely put onmy shoes over My wet socks and headed out! Knowing I would hAve to deal with it once home.

So...rug is residing in the bath; laminate has been mopped up with a biiig towel; fan heater is drying the floor out; dh has poked a hole in the wall/ceiling join. Given the amount of daught blowing in, we conclude it must be a flashing issue, which we can resolve once the weather is dry.

    Happy Easter Monday activities!
