Paperwork all read through. Sort of...
Rugby watched.
Workout done - bunny slope #8. Did it with 3k db, not the 3lb ones suggested. My body no longer works properly!
Couple more chicks made. Dd keeps finding people to give them to - 6, so far - and most of them need posting, so cannot be done after the fair. I'd like to take another dozen to the fair, and 2 dozen egg cozies/hats.
6 more days of work left. Phew. Will be even happier when it is 0...NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
A busy day 7.30am until 8pm. Glad it is finished. Tomorrow is another - hopefully less packed - day, where I may get to spend some time with dd...
However,it was a mostly 'successful' day as regards getting things done, and an NSD to boot.
Buyer came to collect some lego and I have 2 bags for the Sally Army which I may drop off tomorrow as we already have enough stuff for 2 more bags!

Impressive decluttering! :Ta penny picker upper. MFW approx 78% to go | FIRE 3 years worth (30% savings rate: now aiming for 40%!) | Normality is a paved road; it's comfortable to walk, but no flowers grow on it | Whatever you're meant to do, do it now. The conditions are always impossible | The only thing you absolutely have to know, is the location of the library0

She has an awful lot of gubbins!!! All my fault, I know!
I am taking my creme egg chick knitting in to work today, in the (vain) hope of getting a little done... Think I have 9 made, and 'need' at least 18. And there are 4 bunnies to finish and parts for 2 bunnies that need making up.
Though I must remember: marking takes priority.

It's brilliant that she's comfortable with editing her own belongings (you'll have to take responsibility for your good work there
) - having been on the KonMari FB group it sounds like a lot of people are creating significant psychological probs for their young kids by throwing their things out without permission or as punishment for not keeping things tidy!

I am just reading the book and she does say that when she stepped back from decluttering her siblings and parents her decluttering rubbed off on them but before, when she was decluttering for them, it caused no end of problemsDebt Free Diary - Second Chances! Dd still has toys from when she was a tiny tot, that she plays with in a different way now, or that are special to her. The clearing out usually comes from her, and I just encoirage her to actually do it. I would never throw out herthings. Anyway, she has such a phenomenal memory that she would know!
Leaving work along a certain path today, I remembered a 1p coin I had seen in the muddy grass last Thursday, but which I had felt unable to pick up as I was talking to a new member of staff. So I looked, it was there, and it now resides in our 'pot of found money'. Result.
A better work day accomplished. Certain tasks achieved.
3 more chicks are ready to have eyes, beak and ribbon. And head stuffing too. Once they are done, I'll have 12, so am getting there...
Took 2 bags to the Sally Army so have £4 credit with them. I've told dd she can have the money from bags she fills, or her items that sell. She has £10 towards her next Sylvanian purchase already!
4 more working days...NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -

I definitely think that letting children choose which items to let go is the way to go (the fb group annoys me, although I'm an admin on it) Well done to both of you!:T:)

A much improved day at work and my A2 kiddies can really see it all coming together and are feeling rightly proud of their progress. All wearing our smug faces!
