Thank you ❤️Today has, of necessity, been an out and about day. And I'm all worn out! Dh dropped Pip and I near where he had an appointment in town. It was okay but the NEET caseworker didn't really listen to Pip as we'd thought she would, so Pip needed to walk the 10 mins to the bus home in silence . We then had about 25 minutes to have a snack and decompress before going out for a Dr appointment. It's local, so I drove, which we both appreciated especially as it was raining non-stop. And the Dr was his usual marvellous self, which helped to balance the day.We noticed that the crocuses/crock are starting to flower and there are a few snowdrops appearing. Are they supposed to be concurrent???NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!2

Snowdrops and croci can appear together though I think as a girl, I remember snowdrops coming out first. However, that was back when dinosaurs roamed the earth! Love Humdinger xx1

I feel that I can finally say that after 10 days, I am getting better. Yay!!!!!So I have been to the gym and just done a very simple bodyweight workout. Then on to liddle to use my 10% off coupon. That's enough excitement for the day
There must be 5 sets of roadworks on the 3.5 mile journey to the gym so I might just start getting the tram and bus for a few weeks until it all calms down. I guess it's the council spending their money before the end of the tax year...I have commandeered an A4 lined notebook to use for my list of things to get done, instead of scribbling things on scraps of paper. There is the satisfaction of crossing things out, but there is also the constant reminder that there is a list of things to do. Maybe dividing the page into 4 would reduce the visual impact?NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!4 -

Well, what happened? Somehow I managed to abandon my thread for half a month. Oops!
However I am still here and life potters on.
Big sis visited for a few days, which was lovely. Pip loves having her around too and misses her when she goes home. We've had various medical and GP appointments - ongoing stuff for Pip and routine ones for me. I've had invigilator training. Pip has been out with various friends. And we went to a college open event. Dh has been busy, hither and thither and currently has a rotten cold.
I'm sure life has been exciting but I'm blowed if I can remember!

Dh is still recovering but is much improved. He does need many reminders to take it easy though!
Pip had a rotten reaction to some meds, so he stopped all of them yesterday - and we got an urgent GP appointment where the GP agreed with that - and today he's back to only sertraline and multivitamin tablets.
Ive had a rough few nights with Pip ( so has he!) and was snoring for England by 9 last night 🤣. I struggled with sleeping between 12 and 4, but my sinuses finally stopped being so darned painful and started producing yellowy green snot. I've not had a sinus infection for years!
At least we're not very sociable people, so have kept all our germs to ourselves 🤣🤣🤣

Healthwise, we're all pretty much recovered now. Pip still has ongoing stuff, but I'm so grateful for our GP (who sadly is retiring on Monday) who 'gets' Pip and has done so much for him , especially over the last 5 months. Pip has had a plethora of blood tests and has a couple of referral dates later this year.
I've been back to the gym, plus managed a good 3-3.5 mile walk (with a little bit of jogging) on one of my work days where I got a lift in and made my way halfway home on foot. It was a glorious day for being out and about.
I think that I am too comfortable in my current situation to feel any need to move out of my bubble of comfort. Part of that is the years on mse, moving into a life and lifestyle that is fairly frugal yet enjoyable. Possibly a tad dull though?
I also think that v1nt3d is my current spending 'nemesis'. I recognised that I used to spend a lot (for me) in charity shops so I simply stopped going to them very much. But v1nt3d is always there and easy to access. On the other hand, I used my 10% off coupon at liddle recently and saved myself a fair amount on food. Plus I also scored a f+v box, so made tomato soup for lunch today, and plan to do red pepper soup and broccoli soup too.
Therefore I think (I'm doing a lot of that!) that I should get myself another bank account and start saving for something. Like going to Chile and walking in the Andes. Maybe not the whole length though 🤣
The crocuses and snowdrops have been and gone. The daffs and hyacinths are in full bloom. The tulips are getting ready to flower. And the stickyweed is rampant!!!
And it is raining. Again. 🌧️
