Peekaboo Apple. I am back. It has been a long time; June 2021 was the last time I commented here! There have been 2,300 posts since. Forgive me for skipping to the end 🙈 

Happy Birthday to Pip for the 13th. Hope a lovely day was had. It has just been Christmas (not sure if you noticed?! 😉) & I once again placed the handmade decorations by you & young Pip onto my tree filled with memories. Never fails but to give me a smile, as I place them up & think of you! Jellytot still has her handmade bunny from you ❤️ 

I hope you are well. I am back because I’m in a bit of a financial pickle & should have come back a lot sooner. Anxiety, Autism & ADHD all played their part in distracting me, burying me headfirst in the sand. But I am in it until I have righted my ship & hopefully ever-more afterward!

So pleased that you still have the decs and bunny! Jelly must be well grown up by now...?

Financial pickles are so easy to get into, so no guilt is allowed there, please. I hope your time with your head in the sand was useful for building sandcastles and not trying to eat the pesky stuff... 

I totally get the anxiety/autism/adhd distractions - they all play a major role here too. Pip currently has diagnoses going up to I in the alphabet. For a while he was AC/DC but has been adding to his repertoire.

Might you join the turtle chat? You don't have to do the challenges, just be a loiterer who pops in every so often. You'd be most welcome

I was hoovering and FS3 wandered across leaving canoe sized 👣  so I had to go back and make it all look nice.
He gave me a funny look and asked if 'I was a bit .... you know, ....oc/dc?'   laughed my head off.  Much more AC/DC than oc/dc.

Oh my gosh, I immediately checked your threads & found January. It’s rather late in the day, however, on reading the initial post, I seem to have jumped into the gratitude, finding happy, exercise (mine is OCD house-cleaning & on the rare occasions my head lets me leave the house, I have walked rather a bit), etc., without even knowing you all were on board!! 

I didn’t even know the Turtles were still going ❤️ 

Jelly is now 13, 14 in January. Life here is… fractious. A diagnosis was gained age 7, but her dad fought tooth & nail against it. Still does. She’s not easy. Wonderful, loveable, violent to me only, clever, hilarious. There’s a lot to be said for a 💩 sandwich, & a lot not said in the centre of that one. She’s caught between 2 homes, finally able to say she doesn’t want to do 50/50 & be listened to by more than just me. She can’t be forced any longer. There’s no co-parenting from the other side, only counter-parenting as I have coined it. But it has resulted in rather a muddled child after 5 years of it.

The other diagnoses are all soon to be my own. AuDHDanxiegoraphobia as I call it 🤷🏻‍♀️ the doc sent me for testing for the former two, due to the latter two. (I always hear Sheldon Cooper at the point I say this. “I’m not crazy! My mother had me tested!”)

Point me to February, & I shall be Knighted with a new Turtle №!

Thank you everyone for Pip's birthday wishes. He had a fab day and then we had his 'party' 2 days ago. He took 4 friends to do archery at the nearby scout place. Dh joined in too, and they all got loads of arrows shot and were all very happy with the number that hit the target. Back to our place for nuggets and chips, cake and sweets, and some disgusting nosecco 🤣.

I'm on day 4 of some lurgy that has rather wiped me out, hurts my chest and has reduced me to whispering . Joy! The house has been rather quiet as both dh and Pip also whisper as an automatic response to me whispering 🤣
