Well done! That really is impressive, to retrieve the compost thats sitting at the bottom of the compost bin. I'm dead impressed, me

Turns out my sis has had a delivery of ...manure today! Stinky! At least our pile has no odour...We have finally cleared the dining room table. Yay! And covered it with a 1000 piece jigsaw that I've been wanting to do for months. I am happy!Did my kettlebell workout, and went for a very short walk with dd. She takes photos and I walk up and down to increase my steps and try to stem the increase of my butt...Dh got out the ladder and raked the moss off our (+ neighbour's) flat rooves and then anti-moss-potioned them. He also ventured to aldee as he'd run out of milk and bread And choc biscuits!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!3

Got my 'facts' a bit wrong. Sis didn't have a delivery of manure. The field in front of their house had a delivery (two, in fact) of manure. It might as well be them though, as it's only 3m from the front door...The jigsaw is coming along nicely. I am lovvvving it!Made dd some banana bread/cake and me some savoury flapjacks this morning. Yummy. Must not eat them all at once... Must not eat them all at once... Must not eat them all at once...Dd did some dance classes via z00m today, which went okay-ish. She had trouble with the sound and picture, both of which are important for follow-along dance... I did my kettlebell workout while she did that. Then I went and dug over more of the garden to remove weeds and suchlike, and then spread out some of the compost. It was lovely to be out in the sunshine - I even went and put on my shorts- but it was enough! I have almost refilled the compost bin... Oops...Right, back to the jigsaw...NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!3

Oooh I want flapjack now!I'd love to have a jigsaw on the go but nowhere safe for it currently. I think the puppy would enjoy it too much. I did complete one a few months ago of a local city and it was really enjoyable to do.Nov 2025 - part 1 - £13,878 part 2 - £20,953 Total - £34,832 24 months to go!2

My most favourite jigsaw is only 500 pieces. My sister gave it to me on my 16th - just before my O levels. It's round. It's basically a blue moon with all the craters, moon landings, mountains, rivers named on it in teeny tiny writing in all directions. And degrees round the edge. And a list of the coordinates for each crater, etc. I luuurrrvvve it and may well get it out once this one is finished...

I like the taste of a savoury flapjack!Got up early and took myself out for a 30 min walk. I saw 2 buses, 6 cars and 2 people in the distance. And was home well before 7am. So I'd done more steps by 7 than I did all day yesterday!Had another go at the front garden and dh came and helped dig up/remove 2 saplings. After 3 bucketfuls of weeds, my hands had had enough, so it is still 'a work in progress...'.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!2

Badminton has once again been attempted -we got a rally of 9 this time (up from a max of 4 last time!).I have done some school prep.Dh bought me a watch. years ago I had one I loved - it had a wide leather strap and a simple big face. Well, we found a similarish one online (steam punk style?) and I now own it! All for under a tenner. Happy days.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!4

I've started reading the portuguese online paper too. It requires a lot more concentration and slowness than the others!

Why do some people (ie those who kick a ball around fo a living) get to negotiate a reduction in pay? When so many on very very low wags are told their pay is being reduced or even suspnded...?
