No signal on Sky utv

I doubt it's an alignment issue as only a few channels are effected.

This is driving me mad, all day today UTV on channel 103 was working well, now when I sit down to watch TV, 103 is coming up no signal, or when the signal appears, blocking and pixelating, ITV3,ITV2 +1, and ITV3+1 no signal. ITV2 ok. Could it be the box, or is it ITV network?Just checked signal quality on ITV 3 and signal strength is good quality is below half.

It's not the box as you can receive other channels just fine. The problem is either with the ITV channels themselves or perhaps your dish has worked itself loose and moves slightly? I'd go to the MySky help pages for further assistance as none of us here appear to have the same problem

Have you perhaps checked if any neighbours or friends are experiencing the same problems? If they have, that will eliminate problems with your equipment?

Sorry you are wrong - missing channels on an intermittent basis is one of the classic signs of either an ailing power supply in a set top box or a failing lnb. It is NOT a problem with the ITV network as the satellite forums would be inundated with complaints by now.

That's why I suggested going to MySky and/or asking the neighbours. I couldn't find any mention of problems with ITV in Northern Ireland on the site.
As you say, it's an equipment problem which can only be properly diagnosed by someone at the scene rather than an internet forum.

I thank you all for ur input and I agree that it is hard to diagnose, I was just wondering if anyone else had had similar problems.. The make of the box is Sky, that's what's on the back. There are some people who have had problems on the Northern Ireland forum regarding UTV hd appearing on channel 103 and others still with the "normal" UTV on 103.. this is why I wondered if it was a UTV signal issue. And why it works during the day.. Maybe it's scared of the dark lol, Seems strange that other channels are working, but hey nought as queer as technology.. Thank you again. I will prob go back to sky again but nt hopeful that they can sort it out.. The box is only in about 2 years.
