No signal on Sky utv

Can anyone help? I have switched on the sky box and channel 103 which is utv is coming up with a no signal message. This is also happening with itv 3, and intermittently with the history channel, sony movies, and a couple of the other movies channels (they tend to pixelate) I have checked all the connections, even changing the scart lead. What is strange though is that the itv channel on 973 is working perfectly.. I did get a picture for a short time on utv but it was pixelating and blocking, with the voice out of sync..
Pain in the backside.

I wonder if your problem had anything to do with UTV HD being swapped with UTV SD on channel 103 for High Definition subscribers?0 -
yes but when i rebooted early in the evening it didnt help, it didnt work.and maybe your right about the SD/HD thingy..Because when I turned on to 103 at 9pm to watch the jungle>> it mysteriously appeared, and today its working.. but thanks for your input. appreciated.0

Could be a dodgy card.1. Have you tried to Google the answer?
2. If you were in the other person's shoes, how would you react?
3. Do you want a quick answer or better understanding?0 -
Certainly take the card out and put it back in, but you might have a weak signal, which could be affected by the poor weather - rain or snow is harder for the signal to get through (from space remember!) and wind could misalign your dish. If you're in NI you've had plenty of wind and rain recently! Make sure the dish is secure and aligned properly, all cabling is in good condition (especially into the back of the box as it can come loose easily) and check your signal strength if the channels do come back.0
