Half to prezzies and half to bills. Like others, we are struggling to keep the heat on, but we go without in other ways to keep it warm. :(

Same as a lot of people, Christmas is a bit of a worry as to how we are going to afford things. I would try and make sure it went on something we could enjoy rather then using it to pay something off. But it would be tempting.:(

Well, I did win £200 at the weekend and I've put that away towards all the bits we are going to need when our house purchase finally completes. If I win any more then the same will happen to that too :-)

  • Like a lot of other folk I should put it towards bills but to be honest it wouldn't make much of a dent....so as it would be a surprise extra I'd keep £20 for me (a night when I'm home alone; a take away and a double Corrie night - Rock n Roll!!!) and the rest I'd post to my local branch of the NAS as I seriously do not know how I would have coped without them these past few years,

£58.35 would go to pay my BT bill, sent out 15Nov. Plus a week's shopping & some sloe liquer < treat.

Because things are tight, and the bills get paid first. Might mean I have a £5 or two spare the week after.
  • I would treat myself to a christmas present a tablet also don't want to buy one rather win one or win money for one.
