I would put it towards the cost of my DIY in kitchen! (Which is never ending!)

This thread is really sad :( The bosses of the utility companies should read this and hang their heads in shame.

Someone "wins £100" and the first thing they think of is to pay their gas bill, when really we should be thinking of treating our kids and even ourselves.

In all honesty I would probably put £90 of it towards the bills too, we put our heating on for an hour on a morning and an hour before we go to bed we have a portable gas heater in the living room for emergencys only, I watch TV on the sofa wrapped in a blanket and comp at my desk with my feet on a hot water bottle

The other £10 I would buy a take away or a bottle of wine and some chocolate as a wee treat, it's not a lot to ask for, and not at all extravagant but we all deserve a small treat once in a while ;)

I wonder if the fat cats in their mansions ever think of the old folks who are dying because they can't afford to turn their heating on.

Sorry for bringing gloom to this super thread, but this really pi**es me off :(

I'd buy something really nice for Christmas for Mrs Maine Blue because any bit of spare cash has been spent on the childrens Christmas presents.

We couldn't afford a christmas present for anyone last year as we almost lost the house, so it would be pressies for my family xxx

I've booked myself in for teeth whitening in 2 weeks, I would use it for that.

There are plenty of things that I would love to spend £100 on but as so many others have commented it would have to go on boring old bills. :( Money is very tight right now. I'm not earning nearly enough to pay for everything we need & my partner is being made redundant (although thankfully he has a few months before he will need to find a new job). I'm dreading Christmas!

My passport expired about 6 months ago & I've just not had the money to renew it. I'd put it towards that then wait patiently for a holiday win! :D:D

I would put it into my holiday savings fund. That's where my comping proceeds usually end up. It hasn't seen a deposit in a while :rotfl:

I recently won a weekend trip to Paris, so I'd change it into Euros and put it towards a nice meal. Thankfully our finances are okay at the moment so it wouldn't need to go straight to the gas company!
    2015 comp wins - £370.25
Recent wins: gym class, baby stuff
Thanks to everyone who posts freebies and comps! :j
