Just came across this thread. I thought the vouchers had stopped completly as hadn't had any for at least 18 months. Logged into my account and my communication preferences were to not receive info from JL or Waitrose. I have never changed this and had vouchers for Waitrose in Novemeber (?) last year. Think I was 'opted out' without my knowledge. Will see when I get any more info/vouchers. Thanks for the advice!0

This has happened to me a couple of times but yet I continued to receive emails from both companies and I never opted out.
I'd never have known had I not rung them up to say I'd not had any vouchers in a while.
It's been mentioned by a few people on here over the past couple of years so I think there's a problem at their end with it.0 -

Not a problem at all - from the John Lewis point of view. It's as plain as a pikestaff that this is a deliberate policy on their part, and I see they've now dropped the 'three times a year' promise.
These are now becoming as rare as hens' teeth, and the whole 'My John Lewis' scheme provides precious little benefit to cardholders.
John Lewis have serious problems, and they're cutting costs wherever they can - staff, staff bonuses, freebies, Never Knowingly Undersold, and now the refund policy is changing to 35 days only.
It's an expensive shop with quite poor levels of customer service (unless you push very hard), masquerading as something else. Used to buy all our major items there, but now it's very much the exception - John Lewis have lost the trust they once had, and I see nothing ahead but a long decline.
High prices are fine with good customer service and a high level of trust. With indifferent customer service, a low level of trust and broken promises it just doesn't work, hence the news reports last September:
Operating profits for John Lewis stores fell 31.2% to £32.4m and were down 28.9% to £96.3m for Waitrose.0 -

The more I spend, the fewer vouchers I get and those I do get are "spend X to get something you have no need or desire for or to enter a competition you stand absolutely a cats chance in... winning"0 -
I have just received one hot drink and cake voucher, valid until 1 June 2017 and no other vouchers! Definitely appears JL are cutting back on the freebies. I can see I will be lucky if I get three a year now!0

Just had 2 vouchers, one each for April and May. Very happy with what I get - sorry it seems to vary so much for other people.0
