How to open the electric plug?

Absolutely, they're a dangerous interference with what is basically a safe system. And you must be quite mistaken to think that socket covers are a meaningful contribution to safety. Have a look at http://www.fatallyflawed.org.uk/.
This video should bring the point home

BTW I think the OP has given up or electrocuted himself trying to follow all our suggestions.0 -
Sorry, while humour is OK, I am quite happy to attack humorous advice which has potentially fatal consequences. It really is idiotic to choose so-called plug covers as the vehicle of humour, without making the intended humour so clear that it is nullified as a joke.
Book yourself in for a sense of humour transplant, immediately!
I know full well what trolling is and if the plug covers are meant as humour, then given the safety implications, it is trolling. You might as well ask the Wizard of Oz to give you a big number as pay a Credit Referencing Agency for a so-called 'credit-score'0 -

My post from earlier:
Now, I'm struggling to see where I could have made it more obvious that I was making a joke. Now I'm really going to throw a cat among the pigeons.:D <--Comical statement followed by 'green grinning smiley' often used on forums to indicate a silly comment.
How about you get some of these:

If you are worried about children plugging things in. :rotfl:<--Comical statement followed by 'yellow rolling about laughing smiley' often used on forums to indicate a laughable comment.
But since you have brought a whole new meaning to the word 'dense', perhaps you could tell me how I can make it more obvious to others in your position?0 -
Just stop posting rubbish. I don't see the smiley and the cat among the pigeons as a marker of a joke, it is just a marker that you are posting something to be controversial.perhaps you could tell me how I can make it more obvious to others in your position?
If you think that I have brought a whole new meaning to the word dense, it indicates your deficiencies in contributing to useful dialogueYou might as well ask the Wizard of Oz to give you a big number as pay a Credit Referencing Agency for a so-called 'credit-score'0 -

If you're talking about changing them yourself*, any that you can buy in a DIY or electrical store will be to the appropriate BS standard.errr , changing the subject slightly , i need to change my plug sockets in our house as they are well past their best , is there a BS standard i should look for please ? as per the excellent Val Hallers post ?
* But if your plug sockets are out of date, you probably need your wiring checking over, which isn't a DIY job.0 -
They arent out of date as such ,just broken , in the sense of some dont take plugs any moreNever, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.0

Pendent, with all respect of course:D:D
Look, ignore that, I only posted it as a couple of posters have made a mockery of the forum within this topic
Would you 2 tweakers or twitchers please take your ego's on holiday and let the grownup's post sensibly please?
Can't wait , this isn't going to attract useful stuff:eek:I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)
Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed0 -
