Energy Bills going up..... a way to pay for your energy bill.
Bills are going up, and the squeeze is on, so how can you save money to pay for these increases?
Well here goes.
I used to drive a Mondeo 1.7, and recently i changed to a VW up 1.0.
On the Mondeo i was spending around £75 to fill the tank and getting roughly 440miles.
In the 1.0 VW up, im spending £45 and getting the same mileage.
Thats a whopping £30 saving a tank, on top of cheaper insurance, cheaper finance, and cheaper road tax.
Now for someone who fills up on average twice a month thats £720 saving over the year, add in the savings on the above, and you can almost cover the gas/elec bill.
Both cars do 70 mph, admittedly the 1.0 might take a few seconds longer to get to desired speed.

Learn How To Drive and save even more on fuel .
Buy cheap fuel rather than pay whatever price when you need to fill up . Big difference 139.9 litre and cheapest 133.7 litre . Learn your cheap stations and top up at them once you are around half a tank left .0 -

Absolutely.... that will be a small savings. We are a society were we want everything bigger... bigger engines, cost more to run.
This is a solution that can have massive savings.

If your girlfriend insists on too high a room temperature and long showers why not dump her and exchange her for a boyfriend - he is less likely to be cold-blooded.0

How much did it cost to change the car? What about deprecation? This sounds like a false economy.0 -

Again.... your right Jim.... for people that dont change their cars often, it could be a flase economy. For people who change their car every 3 years using finance agreements, then this can be a right money saver.
MSE is all about helping people trying to save money.
Most of the responses here, will only save a small amount, and most of the posters are unhelpful, and merely trolls.
I also love these people with 1000's of posts, but in reality how many were helpful, compared to the amount that were just p!!s take comments.Promo codes are never always cheaper..... isnt that right EuropCar?0
